You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Lhasa Mix | 10 yrs. | 16 lbs. | Adoption Fee $225.00 Ollie is a sweet teddy bear of a dog who is easy to manage for just about everything, especially if yummy treats are involved.  He is leash trained, house trained on a schedule and crate trained, though he doesn't get into mischief if he is left out on his own.  He is not reactive to people or dogs when walking on a leash.  He hasn't been introduced to cats or children.   He loves being outside to just poke around and sleep on the grass. Sometimes  Ollie likes to have some quiet time to get away from the silliness of the resident dog.  He will go in his crate or find a quiet corner away from the action.  He would do best in a quiet home as the only pet as he is deaf and is not interested in much of any play.  Completion of an Adoption Application via our website (www.RescueCrew.org) is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is the first step in the adoption process. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a physical location where you can stop by to visit the animals - we require the completion of an Adoption Application prior to meeting any of our adoptable pets in foster care. Story

Hi, my name is Max! I'm from a local animal control. Max is a 12 years young boy who is as a sweet as he is fluffy. And he's very fluffy. He currently lives with a cat and another dog and does well with them. He loves to follow his foster mom around the house and will often bark if he's unable to stay close. However, he does well when left home and is content to find a comfy spot and take a nap. While Max is energetic for his age, he is a senior and would prefer a more laidback household where he can spend his time hanging out with his people. His three favorite things are food, snuggles and exploring the yard. From the vetting team: Hello! I arrived at Secondhand Hounds through the Fighter Fund program so that I could receive the proper medical treatment! I have a heart murmur and the cardiologist stated that this murmur is most consistent with degenerative valve disease. Since I am asymptomatic and the chest x-rays revealed no significant abnormalities, no further workup will be pursued by SHH regarding this. The cardiologist recommended monitoring chest x-rays for changes every 6 months, but any monitoring or future care (if needed) would be at my adopter's responsibility. I also had a mass removed from my thigh which thankfully returned as non-cancerous. I do have other skin masses that did not require removal. Lastly, my eyes show signs of glaucoma and posterior luxated lens but at this time, there are no signs of obvious pain. My future adopter should monitor my eyes and skin masses with a veterinarian as well.
