Too precious Luna is a very cuddly, affectionate and sweet little Lhasa poodle mix. She is playful with her person then enjoys some lap time. At seven years old and weighing nineteen pounds she is perfect for a retired person. Luna is totally house trained. This little lady does not like to be left alone and will bark so not a good fit for an apartment. She doesn’t play with other dogs but will co exist with another calm small dog. Story
Oso (cuddler extraordinaire)'s Story Meet Oso, a mixed breed lover, approximately 2 years old and abuot 15 pounds. Oso came to us in very neglected condition, and turned into a beauty once groomed. Like so many others, he may be timid initially but turns into a huge cuddler, good with dogs as well but we think he will also do well as a single dog in a home. Housebroken and will need someone willing to patiently expose him to general socialization with new situations, new people, etc. Will likely do better with adult home (or older calmer dog savvy teens). PLEASE NOTE- AN APPLICATION FROM THE WEBSITE ALMOSTHOMEDOGS.ORG IS REQUIRED prior to any meet and greet. Calling, emailing or "inquiring" is not useful and will delay your consideration in the adoption of the dog. The adoption fee is $450, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including age appropriate vaccinations, worming, flea/tick preventative, heartworm test if age appropriate and spay/neuter. All of our dogs will be microchipped. Because our dogs are in foster homes, applications are required prior to setting up any appointments. Calling or emailing may delay your consideration. APPLY AT ALMOSTHOMEDOGS.ORG (click on the word "Adopt" at top of page to find the dropdown menu with application) We are a non profit no kill 501 (c)3 rescue. Please understand that we do our best to describe our dogs but often we rescue them with virtually no information about them and often our best educated guess can be challenging. Currently check, cash or venmo is preferred payment

His foster mom writes...Tom Boy is a pleasure to have! Fully potty trained, we’re working on sit but he would rather dance for his treats lol. He has an inquisitive nature, always picking up sticks and stalking squirrels on our walks… Getting better at leash walking with a harness but would much rather have a yard to run around in (and go for walks - he loves to explore but gets tired on the long walks, probably a new thing for him). Story
I live in Rosedale and my dog had an accidental litter of three newborn puppies (2 females and 1 male). I will be keeping the mother but I am unable to care for the litter and need to surrender the puppies. They are nursing and currently healthy. I can continue caring for them with their mother until an intake is available. Thank you very much.
