                                                                             KENNEL ID #18804Brian is an 8-year-old Lhasa Apso born 1-18-2018, weighing 22 lbs. He’s the definition of a couch potato — switching couches is basically his idea of exercise. Brian would do best in a quieter home without a lot of hustle and bustle. He can be a bit wary of strangers and makes a great little watchdog. This is a breed that can take some time to trust new people, but once he does, he is very loyal to his family. Brian likes other dogs, but he would really prefer to have his person all to himself. Like many Lhasa Apsos, he prefers a calm environment and would be happiest with adults or older, respectful children who understand his space. Brian is not overly needy and has an independent side. If you want a dog who is happy to sit next to you without having to be attached at your hip, he may be your perfect match. Meet Trudy, a 10-year-old Llasa-poo who was found as a stray and brought to the shelter so we don't know anything about her past. But we know that it wasn't good. She was horribly matted, not spayed, and had multiple mammary tumors. Through two separate surgeries, she has now been spayed, had all of the tumors removed, and needed seven teeth extracted. She was a rock star, enduring it all so well, and is all healed now!​ Unfortunately, a couple of the small tumors were cancerous, but our vet believes there is a good chance that the cancer has not spread. We did lung x-rays and her lungs were clear.​ Trudy is very sweet and loving. She loves to be on your lap but is equally content to sleep on her bed or on the sofa with another dog friend. She gets along great with other dogs. ​ She may have a bit of separation anxiety when left alone without the other dogs. Once she is with someone or another dog, she's fine. ​ We cannot say enough good things about Trudy. She's a survivor who deserves the very best home.​ FLFO requires a home visit therefore adopters must be within 40 miles of Baldwin MD.

Jayden is a 7 year old neutered male lhasa apso who weighs 15 pounds. These dogs were surrendered to us by their breeder and have never lived in a home. They are sweet and loving dogs who will need work with potty training, but they love to sit on laps, be pet and will make wonderful little dogs. They have tested well with other dogs, were used to a fenced in yard and do well in the crate. FALKOR IS IN HIS FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN, AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO PA ONCE ADOPTED!   Meet Falkor, a 2- to 3-year-old dog weighing 18-20 pounds. He is housebroken, crate trained, and demonstrating good behavior around other dogs, older children, as well as cats. Falkor enjoys cuddling and watching TV, although he does not yet appear to be familiar with toys. He is seeking a forever home. He is fully vetted. Vetting includes spay/neuter, microchip, rabies and all puppy vaccinations. His adoption fee of $600 includes the transport to PA.
