Story
Jayden is a 7 year old neutered male lhasa apso who weighs 15 pounds. These dogs were surrendered to us by their breeder and have never lived in a home. They are sweet and loving dogs who will need work with potty training, but they love to sit on laps, be pet and will make wonderful little dogs. They have tested well with other dogs, were used to a fenced in yard and do well in the crate. Story
Wiggles is a 6 year old spayed female poodle/lhasa apso mix who weighs 15 pounds. She came to us from another rescue that was out of space, so we gladly accepted them and now they are safely in our care. She was surrendered by a breeder and has likely never lived in a home before. Wiggles needed to be fully shaved due to matting and she is probably feeling so much better! Wiggles is a very sweet girl who has tested well with other dogs, comes when called and cannot wait to meet her new family. Story
I have had Rudy for almost two years. He was rescued from the Harrisburg Humane Society in Aug. 2024. He is the sweetest little gem of a dog but has now been fighting with my other Shih Tzu dog. They are both male and were good friends until about two months ago when they began to fight. (Reason unknown) The other Shih Tzu was rescued about a month after Rudy. Both dogs cannot live together at all. I am looking to rehome Rudy because unlike my other Shih Tzu, Rudy has never bitten anyone. Rudy does have high anxiety, which is calmed with trazadone, although he is not always on it. The high anxiety manifests as barking and trying to escape crates, doors, gates. Additionally, Rudy has an eye inflammation that looks serious, but after seeing an ophthalmologist, the doctor determined that it is fluid in the cornea that is not doing Rudy any harm. Rudy is currently on eye drops for this condition. If I could keep him, I would. He is well loved and cared for and does not bite.

Story
Hi everyone, my name is Fleurette! 🌸 As my name suggests, I am just a little flower and I am looking for the very best home where I can bloom! I am a 3 year old, 13 pound Bichon/Poodle mix. Thankfully, I was recently surrendered by a commercial breeder who bred me over and over again so they could make money off the sale of my puppies. Due to the conditions I spent the first few years of my life in, I am still quite timid and nervous around people. However, I am slowly but surely learning what it means to be a loved pet in a home and that people can be caring. 💕 My foster family says even though it takes time for me to warm up to new people, once I'm comfortable, I'm able to relax and enjoy their company. My furry foster brother has been really important in helping me learn what it means to be a loved dog. It will be essential that I go to a home with another confident dog who will help me continue to learn what it means to be a loved pet, to feel safe, and who I can look to when something new comes up. I will need a calm and quiet home and for my furever family to be patient with me. One of my favorite ways to spend the afternoons and evenings with my foster family is curled up on the couch getting little snuggles and pets. 🏡 I am crate trained and I spend the day in there while my foster parents are at work and I sleep in it at night too. I am learning how to walk well on a leash but I can still be a little on edge with new sights, smells, and sounds so I would really like my foster sibling to walk with us too. I am doing really good with potty training but accidents are to be expected until I understand the routine in my new home. 🐾 Due to my Bichon/Poodle coat, I will need regular grooming. I am spayed, microchipped, and up to date on my vaccines. I am currently being fostered in Bethlehem, PA and potential adopters may need to travel for a meet and greet. If you'd like to be my furever family, please fill out an application on our website using a laptop or desktop! Kennel license # 9117 Po box 2372 Reading PA 19608

Story
Meet Talia 💕 a 6-year-old Shih Tzu/Poodle mix with a gentle spirit and a heart that just needs time. Talia is a very shy, sensitive girl who is still learning to feel safe in the world around her. She is not a dog who seeks out attention right away in fact, she currently prefers space over physical affection and may not enjoy being pet at this time. Talia will need a patient, understanding home that respects her boundaries and allows her to come around on her own terms. While she may not be a “cuddly” dog right now, Talia finds comfort in quiet environments and consistent routines. With time, trust, and gentle encouragement, she has the potential to build meaningful bonds but her future family must be willing to go slow and celebrate the small wins. Talia is fully vaccinated, spayed, and has excellent manners for grooming. She is doing very well with housebreaking and continues to improve, though she may still have occasional accidents as she adjusts. Talia would do best in a calm, low-traffic home with patient adopters who understand shy or undersocialized dogs. She’s looking for someone who will love her for who she is right now not who they expect her to be. If you have a quiet home and a big heart for dogs who need a little extra understanding, Talia could be your girl 💗 Apply to adopt Talia here: https://www.zoeshouserescue.com/adopt Zoe’s House Rescue
