Meet Gangi — A Quiet Soul Ready to Bloom 🐶 3 years old | Spayed Female | Bichon Frise × Poodle (Bichon) Mix | 8.8 lbs Gentle, soft, and a little shy — Gangi is a beautiful 3-year-old "Poochon" (Poodle × Bichon mix) who is just beginning to discover what a peaceful, loving life can feel like. She weighs 8.8 lbs (4kg) and came from one of Korea’s many illegal puppy mills, where she was kept as a breeding dog. Her past is unclear, including whether she gave birth, but what’s certain is that she never knew kindness — until now. After her rescue, Gangi underwent surgery on her right patella (kneecap), and is now doing well. She’s fully vaccinated, spayed, and currently thriving in a quiet foster home where she’s learning that people can be gentle and the world doesn’t have to be scary. 🐾 What makes Gangi special? Gets along beautifully with other dogs and even cats Pee pad trained and also does well with outdoor potty Very low shedding (rating: 1/10) No separation anxiety and never barks unnecessarily A calm, peaceful presence — the kind of dog who quietly watches before slowly coming closer While she loves playing with other dogs, she’s still shy around humans — especially new people. She’s not aggressive at all, just cautious. She’s currently learning how to walk on a leash and would thrive with a patient adopter who can give her the time and space to blossom at her own pace. If you have a gentle heart and a quiet home, Gangi might just be the soul you’ve been waiting to meet.

** Current location: in a foster home in South Korea ** Meet Lulu👋 In April 2025, a group of small dogs—likely victims of an illegal breeding operation—were found abandoned together on the streets of South Korea. Lulu was one of them. Her sagging nipples hinted at the harsh life she had endured, likely used repeatedly for breeding. Lulu is ready to leave her difficult past behind and finally enjoy life as a cherished member of a loving family. While learning how to live with humans in her foster home, she’s looking for a forever home where she’ll be cared for and loved the way she deserves. • Personality: Gentle, Calm, Sweet Lulu doesn’t seem to have received much love from humans in the past. She doesn’t actively seek out attention or affection from volunteers, but she’s such a sweet and gentle little girl. We believe that with time and patience, once she learns how to interact and bond with people, her true personality will shine—just like any beloved family dog. • Affinity with - Dogs: She loves to say hello to other dogs gently - Cats: Tries to chase - Adults/Kids: Good with adults and kids - she needs more time with men. • Walking Manners: With consistent practice at her foster home, she’s improved a lot! Now, one of her favorite activities is walking and sniffing! • Housetrained: completely housebroken - uses pee pads indoors and goes potty outdoors as well. She'll need some housetraining in a new environment, though. • Bathing/Brushing: Very good and calm • Car Sickness: Comfortable with car rides • Separation Anxiety: None • Barks/Howls: None. • Appetite/Food Allergies: No food allergies found so far - but after the struvite stone surgery, it’s best to watch her diet. • Shedding level (1~10): 1-2 • Likes/Dislikes: She likes going for walks and saying hello to friends! / Needs slow introduction to men. • Health: When rescued, Lulu was weak and suffering from hematuria caused by a bladder stone (struvite), which required immediate surgery. Thankfully, she has made a full recovery! While she can have regular kibbles, it’d be best to watch her diet going forward.

Meet Wooju — A Tiny Soul with a Huge Heart 🐶 4 years old | Neutered Male | Maltese | 7.3 lbs From a heartbreaking past to a hopeful future — Wooju is ready to find the forever family he’s always deserved. This little 7.3 lb Maltese was born into hardship. In a small town in Korea, he spent his early years as a breeding dog at a pet shop, and once he was no longer “useful,” he was passed on to a dog grooming school, where he was used for grooming practice and endured repeated abuse. Thankfully, a compassionate student reported his condition, and Wooju was rescued by a local animal welfare group. After receiving care and recovering from his past, he made his way to the U.S. and is now being fostered in a loving home in New Jersey. Despite everything he’s been through, Wooju is incredibly sweet, bright, and affectionate. He loves all people and never hesitates to show his adorable side. He gets along well with other dogs, has no known issues with kids, and is fully pee pad trained while also doing well with outdoor potty breaks. He hasn’t met cats yet, but his gentle nature suggests he may adjust well with proper introduction. Wooju may be small in size, but his capacity for love is enormous. After years of being used and neglected, he’s finally ready to be loved — not for what he can provide, but for who he is. If you're ready to show him what forever feels like, Wooju is ready to give you all his heart. 💛
