Story
Please contact Paola (paolacresti@gmail.com), (925) 323-0503 for more information about this pet.Gorgeous Luna (Lulu) is about 2 years old. As her story goes she belonged to a nice lady with a teenage son. She supposedly purchased her from a breeder as a Himalayan... but she doesn't look like any Himalyans we can compare to... She's definitely has Maine Coon an Persian traits in her, and her coloring is Russian Blue. The original adopter had to surrender her as she was fleeing and abusive boyfriend and where she was going she couldn't take a cat with her. Luna is a "your one and only" kind of cat. She does not like the other cats and acts out around them, which is likely why she got shuffled around a few times before ending up with me. She behaves poorly around other cats, but when alone is a sweet loving cat that likes pets and is very responsive/talkative. I try to give her space to herself as much as I can, but I have other cats so it's hard, she seems to understand that though. She is gotten bit large, but most of it is her fur. She's a big fluff! She is looking for a new home where she is your only cat. The original owner had a teenage son whom she had bonded with so she is accustomed to teenage kids as well as adults If interested please contact Paola at MyNewFurreverFriend@gmail.com or text 925.323.0503 to arrange a meeting  Community Concern for Cats is an all-volunteer rescue organization helping homeless and abandoned cats in Contra Costa County. Learn more about our adoption process, locations, fees, and download an application at http://www.communityconcernforcats.org/adoptions/adoption-process/. Please contact Renee (givethemahappylife@gmail.com) for more information about this pet.TO INQUIRE ABOUT THESE CATS email Renee at givethemahappylife@gmail.comInclude a bit about your home, who lives there and why you are interested in adopting a kittens now.   Binx and Spooky are two adorable kitties who were adopted as babies at the end of 2021. They have grown into incredible feline companions with loving and charismatic personalities. Regrettably their owners have recently experienced housing instability, and are no longer able to provide the necessary care for these precious cats. Binx and Spooky have formed a strong bond, and genuinely love each other's company. Their ideal situation would be to find a loving forever home together, however, considering the urgency and limited options available, they can be adopted separately. Binx is in affectionate kitty, who loves to curl up next to you and offer gentle head nudges as a sign of love. He enjoys being petted and adores engaging in interactive playtime. Binx has a charming personality with a touch of mischievousness, making him an entertaining and delightful cat to have around. Spooky is an incredible sweet, natured feline. He has an affinity for pets and enjoys spending every moment with people (and his brother). Like Binx, Spooky is fond of interactive play, and is always ready to chase after feather toys and a string. They both love their food! Although it is preferred for Binky, and spooky to remain together, individual adoptions will be considered.  These sweet boys deserve loving homes where they can thrive and receive the care they need. If you were interested in providing a forever home to Binky or Spooky, (or both!) please reach out as soon as possible as time is running short for these affectionate kitties. I hope we can come together as a community and help find Binks and spooky living homes they deserve. These photos do not do the cats justice!  They are really beautiful, glossy long haired boys.  Community Concern for Cats is an all-volunteer rescue organization helping homeless and abandoned cats in Contra Costa County. Learn more about our adoption process, locations, fees, and download an application at http://www.communityconcernforcats.org/adoptions/adoption-process/. Story
Acampo, CA (near Lodi):  Hi, my name is Ruby!  As you might guess from my beautiful ruff, big fluffy tail, and large paws, I am a Maine Coon mix.  (And did you notice my extra-long whiskers?!) I am a talkative & social girl and enjoy being with people.  I’m good with other cats, but I’ve never met any dogs, so I’m not sure how I feel about them. I was born in approximately May 2016.  I have been spayed, am up to date on my vaccines, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, and microchipped.  I have been declawed. I'm living in a private foster home so please text or call Karen at 209-329-2001 for more information. You can fill out an adoption application online at https://forms.gle/obNDXM5Q4SbNNDH67 and once you are approved, we can meet via video chat!September 25, 2023, 3:14 pm

Good with cats, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
My mother recently passed away and we are trying to find a home for her two cats. Noodles is a male Maine Coon long hair and Lucy is a female Bombay short hair. They were both adopted as kittens in 2015, the shelter they were in said they were found together on the street. Noodles is extremely friendly with everyone he meets and is happiest when sleeping right next to a human or his sister Lucy. He knew my mom's routine and would follow her around the house throughout her day. Lucy is independent and skittish around new people, however she is also very food motivated and easy to bribe. Over the past few months I had been able to get her much more comfortable around me just by gently petting her any chance I got. The cats have been primarily indoor all their life, and would occasionally be let out to explore our fenced in yard. Neither have had any health problems. They would both probably do best in a calm environment.
