It is a long read and a long adoption process. Please understand we are ensuring that our babies go to great homes and we don't know you personally (yet). Understand that this is an adoption of a beautiful little soul that deserves the absolute best life.
The average lifespan of a cat is 13 to 20 years. Some cats even live into their thirties, although this is far less common. So don't let that discourage you from adopting an adult cat if a kitten is too much energy for you! Rescue Mama has had 3 live into their 20's. One was 8 weeks old.
AMARETTI and her siblings (SNICKERDOODLE, MOCHA TRUFFLE, BISCOTTI and BUTTERSCOTCH) were left in a carrier with her mama COOKIE on a lady’s doorstep in Murrieta, California. When notified, we found a foster and who took them in.
Meet AMARETTI, a young long-haired Torbie Maine Coon beauty from Murrieta, California, whose gorgeous coat and sweet personality make her a delightful little companion. This beautiful girl has had quite a journey from the very beginning. She arrived at just three weeks old with her mama, COOKIE, and four brothers after they were left together in a carrier on a doorstep. From those tender early days, AMARETTI has grown up surrounded by love in a caring foster home, where she has learned that people are wonderful friends.
Because AMARETTI has been lovingly socialized with people from such a young age, she is comfortable around her caregivers and enjoys being part of the action. She is okay with being carried, and when she is not busy investigating something exciting, she is happy to settle in for some snuggle time. She has a lovely balance of playful kitten energy and affectionate sweetness.
Give AMARETTI a furry ball, and she is ready for a game! She loves chasing her favorite toys and showing off her playful side. But this girl also has a wonderfully curious streak. Every now and then, she decides her water bowl looks like the perfect place for a little entertainment. A playful splash here, a curious paw there, and suddenly ordinary water time becomes an adventure.
With her luxurious long hair, beautiful Torbie coloring, and Maine Coon charm, AMARETTI is certainly easy on the eyes, but her personality is what makes her truly special. She can bring laughter with her playful antics, warmth with her snuggles, and plenty of companionship as she grows into the confident young cat she is becoming.
AMARETTI would thrive with a loving family who will continue nurturing her social nature, provide plenty of playtime and enrichment, and enjoy all the little quirks that make her uniquely AMARETTI She is ready to fill her next chapter with toys to chase, cozy places to cuddle, and people to love.

AMARETTI is an DOMESTIC LONG HAIR MAINECOON / TORBIE MIX. She is about 4 months old. AMARETTI is good with cats. She has never been around kids or dogs.

3. Submit Online Application
4. Someone Will Text to Do Phone Interview
5. Will be notified of Approved Application
6. Home Visit (WILL BE SCHEDULED)
7. Official Meet and Greet with Kitty
8. Sign Adoption Contract
9. Pay Adoption Fee (VENMO - ZELLE - PAYPAL or CASH)
10. Take the Kitty Home

VOLUNTEERS are the only ones allowed to let you meet the kitty. Not PETSMART employees.
Volunteers are usually at PetSmart between 9 am to 1 pm for cleaning ONLY. The cats currently at PETSMART you are allowed to go visit. VISITING HOURS: 5 pm - 8 pm (Monday thru Saturday) and Sunday 3 pm - 6 pm. The VOLUNTEERS are only there in the evening for 3 hours.. FOR HOLIDAYS email us or visit the cattery for VISITING HOURS. Most days are the same 3-hour shifts. It's based on volunteer availability and store hours.

The crazy rescue mama will drive kitties to their new home, meet and greets, etc...once the phone interview and home check have been done. Gas donations always appreciated!

If the CAT/KITTEN is still listed (meaning here or other websites) they are still available. It does not mean they don't have other pending applications or meet and greets.
Please note: Just because you fill out an application and are approved does not obligate you to adopt the cat/kitten. If he or she is not a fit...we have plenty of other cats / kittens available for adoption.
We are a SMALL rescue based out of Hemet, California. We are all volunteers that run the rescue. If we haven't reached out....be patient.

RABIES shot
FELV/FIV test (Negative/Negative)
Drontal Dewormer
Stronghold Flea Control
Microchip
We are NOT a government FUNDED shelter and all our donations and adoption fees are for our rescued cats/kittens. So, we do not do DISCOUNTS.
