Merlin and his mother Princess Mithian came to us after losing their housing. We are still getting to know them but so far we do not think they are bonded and could be adopted individually. Merlin is still on the shy side but check back for updates as we get to know his personality!

Very very very sweet cat, like very sweet she well melt your heart sweet. I rescued her from breeders that weee abusing her she has been with me for about 7 months now but the economy is getting worse and 3 cats is getting out of my budget. Bonnie will make a very good pet for someone that is looking for one. She also looks very stunning and she knows it as well 😂 please feel free to ask any questions! CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CA:  Chinchilla (Chin Chin) and Shadow are a sweet bonded pair of lovely kitties that were rescued together from a large cat colony. They appear to be Maine Coon-mix cats.  Shadow is probably Chin Chin's mother.  They both have amazingly loud purrs!   Chin Chin and Shadow’s rescuer, Sara, provided us with this description of the girls: “Chin Chin is gray and white and was born in approximately May 2016.  She's a bit flighty and will run away at first, even from me, but comes back as soon as I start petting or brushing another cat.  She returns even faster when I'm dispensing treats.  She is very playful and chases balls and other toys around the room.  She even has a regular morning romp with another cat from the colony.  She loves to be brushed and sleeps on my bed at night. Shadow was born in approximately May 2014.  She's very small for a Maine Coon mix (about 6 pounds) and has gorgeous all-black fur.  She loves to be brushed and petted and often meows loudly.  Her fur is curly, so regular brushing is needed to keep mats from forming.  She's even gotten used to stand-up brushing of her belly and will jump onto the cat condo so I can reach her more easily.  Once there, we sometimes touch noses.  She's the sweetest girl.  She's very docile and calm once she gets familiar with you and the household.  She doesn't even run when I vacuum.  She's also very good about eating oral flea medication with tuna or sardines. Both girls are going to be shy at first with new people but with patience and gentle talking, treats and eventually brushing, they'll come around. Both of them have purrs that practically shake the house.  I can hear Chin Chin purring from another room, and she'll start even before I touch her.  Shadow starts drooling when she's purring.  It's so cute! There's no way of knowing for sure, but I believe they are mother and daughter.  They are definitely a bonded pair and need to be adopted together.   Both are in good health.  I give Shadow daily hairball gel and Chin Chin a powdered probiotic in her food.  They are good about using the litter box and grooming themselves.  Chin Chin and Shadow have both been spayed and will be up to date on vaccinations prior to adoption.  They are good with other cats.  They might be okay with older, respectful children, or with a very calm and cat-friendly dog." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This is a Courtesy Post, and Chin Chin & Shadow are living in a private foster home with their rescuer Sara in Hercules, California. Cricket is a friendly, affectionate, gentle and very playful 9 months old girl. As a very young kitten, she was rescued from a busy street in a rough area. Cricket enjoys sitting in the cat tree watching the birds and squirrels; talks and makes the cutest chirping sound. She responds to her name. She's a fan of lounging and gets her daily exercise by playing with her favorite toys. This character will keep you amused. When she's tired or wants attention she’ll cuddle on the sofa with you for pets and a snooze. Cricket gets along well with others cats, but keeps her distance from the adult cats since they don't want to play. Cricket would do well in a quiet home with a kitten playmate. If you are looking for a sweet loving lap cat, Tiki is your girl! She is brimming with gentle affection. This adorable 2 year old cat is not at all shy and really wants to be your friend. She is also quite alert and curious and playful. When not on your lap or sitting next to you, she is happy to chase toys or fly catch or look out the window. She is also very fond of eating and would benefit with a stricter diet. Though Tiki lives with other cats in her foster home, she would prefer and love to be your sole center of attention.
