 ALL our cats and dogs are in the NY area but can be adopted out of state to the purrfect furever home.  In some cases, we can help transport.  Zani's al fresco Summer Adoptions  follow us on FB to find us this summer as we will try new locations to meet the needs of NYC and support the little stores:)     Pure is arriving to us on Feb 26 from Saudi Arabia.  A 2.5y male Maine Coon mix is a little dominant with other kitties if he doesn't love them but is very playful and cuddly if he does. History: found abandoned but too cuddly and friendly to leave behind, he was the easiest catch ever-- he just entered the carrier and enjoyed being safe indoors again. spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested negative for FIV/FELV. READ FULL BIO BEFORE APPLYING's Story Rarely do we offer a group of cats that are not in your face friendly to start off, but this group of 5 half sisters and sisters is an exception. Why? We know that in their former home, they were all friendly and happy but sadly they have been traumatized by the death of their owner and now find themselves in bumpy waters. Each can go solo and shine - we know it - but all will be shy at first and need families understanding that they need time and patience and a lot of reinforced cuddling. All are not aggressive, just sad and fearful of the unknown. Pandora is the ONLY one already out of her shell and head booping and purring and we know she is just like her sisters who still are not as brave. They are fine with other pets too. We suggest NO young children or loud homes - apartments are fine! Houses fine too if at first they are given a small space to decompress. All FYI are TINY PETITE and way smaller than they appear in photos. It is possible that all are younger than we have aged them, but we had no info from family surrendering so we gave them a "max" age. And we are guessing on their relationship to each other. Let's meet this month's April kitties - arriving prob around Easter (waiting for flight info) MacSaffie - 1 yr old Long haired Fold/Himy handsomeness was rescued in bad shape by an amazing woman who fostered him - his family had moved and just let him on the streets in over 100 degree temps. He loves being a lap cat and is not a huge boy - fine with other cats. Just a snuggly dork who is spectacular when his hair grows in but loves his short cut too. He is just STUNNING and a lover! Possible therapy cat too! Elsa - this 5 yr old Persian Ragdoll mix is just spectacular in every way. She is gentle & playful, sweet & calm. She’s shy with new people at first (typical of the breed) but very friendly & loving once introduced. She’s good with kids , other cats & people. Loves treats too! Way more gorgeous than any photo! Mona Lisa - this young 2-3 yr old Ragdoll gal is a WOW cat - doesn't get any more exotic then this supermodel. She is energetic and playful and loves other cats and all people! She is happy and healthy and loves to get groomed to be the fancy gal she is! Mary - 2-3 yr old Maine Coon Turkish Angora mix is WOW amazing - found after a family found her begging on the streets of Doha outside a sushi restaurant, she was so happy to find love and SUPER friendly and to this day loves tummy rubs, making biscuits and laying on your lap. So special Emily - 1 yr old Silver British Shorthair - this girl is not just gorgeous, but a sweetheart. She is cuddly happy fun and way more beautiful than any photo. Has the sweetest happiest nature and has loved life in her foster - shining brightly with each day! She is a treasure of treasures! These kitties were all fostered in a wonderful homes after they were abandoned in Qatar! They are incredibly affectionate, super snuggly, and simply the most purrfect kitties! A living snowball who is super delightful in every way. So friendly happy goofy and a diva of any home she can call her castle! She adores her cat tree and chin scratches and giving the best head boops! WOW! Baysouni - this exotic 5yr Maine Coon Persian loves kids and being the center of attention in all homes! He is barely out of being a juvenile and this breed mix can live 20 yrs or so - that gives u a lot of love and snuggles for a long time! He is way more spectacular than any photo too! Kalu - this Coon Persian is barely 2yrs old and is a licorice dream. We love the way his ears curl and he has the LOUDEST purr ever. He truly is unique and has a deep chocolate tone in the right light - even smoke! He is plush soft and his hair can go fairly long (we cut for flight comfort). Just a lover romeo! Finn and Ainsley - these twins are part of our breeder surrender from last transport - at barely a year old they are still big kittens and each spectacular lovers and their siblings who are here already have already proven the best of the best. So cute so funny and so fun! Best boys ever! Marley - super rare and barely 1yr old, Marley is a gem of gems. She can be quite a diva as female Persian Chinchillas can have attitude. Would make a great solo cat or good in a home where she can be the ultimate queen. She is beyond gorgeous and beyond sweet. One of our rescue's most unique cats we've ever had! Tiger is a loving, adoring, over the moon affectionate cat who needs a new loving family and forever home where she can be the center of attention. She does not do well with other animals and due to unfortunate events lately in life we were forced to move in with additional cats and it has not gone well at all. I just want her to have a safe space to spread her joy and love.
