I have an elderly friend who is in the hospital and no longer able to care for his 7-year-old cat. Unfortunately, I have a rescued kitty myself who will not tolerate another cat. Is there any room to bring Lily in for adoption? She comes with a supply of food and litter. She has been alone for some time and is now timid when I or friends stop by to feed her. She needs someone who is patient, and I'm sure she will come out of her shell.

A rough and rowdy player, Bumble would do well with the company of another young and playful cat (for him to stalk and surprise!) or oppositely, an old, relaxed cat who won't mind his antics. Two years old and full of beans, he can't be picked up, needs his own space and will tell you, "No thank you" but far less politely. We welcomed our cat into our home when he was just two weeks old, a sweet gift from a family friend in December 2017. Now, we're are looking for a loving home where he can continue to be cared for and cherished. If you're someone who can offer him a calm, caring environment and the love he deserves, he'll make a wonderful and loyal companion. This is "Chester". He is about 2 years and 2 months old. A few months ago we got a call from someone on Chestnut Avenue in Waterbury (hence the name "Chester") who was feeding Chester for a while and then Chester got sick from another cat. We took Chester in then and he was very very sick. He was so sick he could not breath, he was very congested, he was drooling a lot and he was not eating. He was just skin and bones! Chester is now completely different from what he was. He did a 100% turnaround! It took us about a month to help make him feel better. He is a healthy cat now and no more skin and bones! Chester gets along with other cats. As for dogs, he could probably live with a calm small dog. In Chester's new home, children must be 6 years old or older. Chester got neutered, he got his shots and he tested negative for feline leukemia/aids. To adopt from us, you MUST have a veterinarian reference in your own name. We will not place any animal without a veterinarian reference. We get a veterinarian reference from your veterinarian which is a history of medical care administered by your veterinarian to your present or previous pet or pets. Here is our litter of 4 kittens that are ready to find their forever homes. Meet "Dilly" and "Dally" (the twins), "Storm" and little "Teensie". Dilly and Teensie are females.
