Story
Draco is a one of a kind personality for sure. He is gorgeous and while his mother was a stunning, slinky black beauty, his father must have had Maine Coon in him as Draco has the tufts and the silky hair of one. Draco has a big personality. He is very outgoing. He is smart so he needs a lot of toys and stimulation. He loves people and he is good with other cats. He's always underfoot and even a little needy at times. He's got a squeaky little meow for such a big guy. We've had him since he was born and he is now one years old. There were little bumps in the road, none of which were his fault, that delayed his adoption. Perhaps his family to be also had delays. Draco does get seasonal drippy eye similar to allergies. We add ester-C to his food and that clears it up when it happens. Draco is ready for his forever home. Are you ready for him? PLEASE JOIN US THIS SUNDAY, DEC. 7TH AT PETCO, 188 KITTS LANE IN NEWINGTON. WE WILL BE ON THE NORTH SHORE ANIMAL LEAGUE VAN SO YOU CAN MEET OUR BEAUTIFUL RESCUES. THE HOURS ARE FROM 1:00-3:00 P.M. PLEASE FILL OUT AN APPLICATION ON OUR WEBSITE IN PREPARATION FOR THE EVENT. THANK YOU!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please note that we can not guarantee the age, expected weight or breed of any animal. What we provide is our best estimates based on our experience and the information provided by the our medical partners. If breed and eventual size are of great importance we suggest looking into a breed specific rescue or adopting a full grown animal. Unless otherwise noted, ALL animals are fostered and available for adoption on Long Island, NY.  Meet Jack! Jack came to us in 2022 from an over crowded shelter. We had no idea why this stunning boy was there especially since he is part Coon. He loved everyone he met and was the happiest boy. Now 3 years later, Jack is being surrendered for no fault of his own. New change in the families life created a not so good living situation for mister Jack.  This sweet boy is now almost 5 years old with having to be moved from the home he has grown up in for 3 years. He is confused and sad. Someone please help this boy out! All of our babies are spayed/neutered, FIV/LEUK negative, UTD on vaccines for their age, dewormed, and microchipped.   Our cats (and rescue) are located on Long Island, NY, and YES, we do adopt out of state within reasonable distance! For more information, more pictures, inquiries and applications about our cats, please visit LCARescue.org Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 2, 2025, 8:09 pm

Story
Meet Holland is a fluffy love muffin! ADORES her bro Germany! Fall is here in NY so we need to get our fosters OUT and into homes here! Our bells and beaus are excited and ready to love love love you! So many amazing cuddly happy friendly and just awesome adults and babies! Lets chat about them... Mason Mikey and sis Mallie - 6m old Blue Tabby Bengal gems - they are so pretty n' handsome and soooo soooo sweet that there is not much more we can say to make u love them - ALREADY POSSIBLE THERAPY CATS - they love everyone they meet and are just so soft and snuggly - great as a duo or solo - each is outgoing happy friendly and seriously cat dogs! Holland and Germany - these 2 6-7m old gems have lived together their whole lives and WOW are they epic awesome. While Germany is the BIG personality and attention hogger (in a great way) with his sleek LO to NO shed coat and adorable cropped tail, Holland is the majestic floof with that sweet quieter yet equally snuggly personality. Sadly they initially were raised in a small cage and she had "swimmers legs" as a baby so her back legs have a little quirk to them but as she's aged she's gotten stronger - xrays show no issue btw. Both are incredible and a great duo for all families. Linus and Levi and bffs Thing and Uncle Fester - 6m old Tabby Van mixes - these hunka hunka lovers are so cute and friendly u will think they are dogs! They check off the boxes of what we love the most about orange boys - super delightful personalities, great with other pets and kids, and just healthy happy and soo soooo snuggly. Truly awesome and potential therapy cats too! ADOPTERS UNDER THE AGE OF 23 MUST HAVE A PARENT OR GUARDIAN APPLY We do NOT test for hypoallergenic qualities or exact breeds as we are a rescue so also please do not ask! If you are allergic, then prepare for 20 yrs of an allergy if the cat you adopt causes issues... If you want to apply - please go to https://rnrpets.org/cat-application/ to be approved. If you have additional questions please contact us via email at rocknrescue1@gmail.com. They are all fully vetted spayed neutered per age and vaccinated tested FIV FELV neg had preventatives and microchipped. And ready for love! They are also available to adopters from out of state in the Northeast and is located here in Bedford Hills NY! Long distance adopters must pick up here sorry no shipping or delivering!
