Story
Nala is a loving cat, she has a sister and they get along well. Nala is not good with the litter box and pees a lot outside of the litter. We have tried medicine, food and aromatherapy but nothing seems to change that she wants to pee wherever. She is ruining our wood floors and we cannot keep her outside.

Story
It breaks my heart to make this post, but I want to do what’s best for my girl. She’s a very sweet, affectionate cat who truly shines when she’s calm and feels safe. She loves gentle attention, quiet moments, and being close to her person. Unfortunately, she has developed strong territorial issues and is no longer getting along with my other pets. For her own happiness and safety — and theirs — she needs to be the only pet in the home. She would thrive with someone patient, understanding, and willing to give her a fresh start. She comes with her carrier and all her belongings. I’m not looking for anything except a good, stable home or a foster who can give her the peaceful environment she deserves. If you or someone you know can offer her a calm, pet‑free home, please reach out. She’s a wonderful cat who just needs the right setting to feel secure again. Thank you for reading — this is really emotional for me, but I want her to have the best chance at a happy life.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.JADEN is a kitty for people who like bad boys.  He’s got the looks to charm anyone, but an attitude that can get him in trouble.  Jaden was dumped out on the streets.  With no idea what to do, he huddled in one spot for a couple of days before Spay the Strays could bring him inside.  When volunteers came to feed him and later trap him, he would come up to them crying and rubbing up against their legs for attention.  He was just happy that someone was there for him.    Jaden was named because of his beautiful green eyes.  He is also a Maine coon mix which gives him a stunning look that pulls people in.  Although he is a cuddly boy who can’t get enough of a good lap and chin scratches, he does have a few bad manners that we are working on to correct.  Jaden tends to nip or bat at you with his paws when he gets overstimulated or isn’t getting exactly what he wants.  He is improving; however, his adopter will need to continue to work with him and have the patience to use positive reinforcement to help him learn.  Jaden cannot be in a home with young children as there is concern with his lack of manners causing an issue.     Fill out the application to adopt:  https://spaythestrays.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=5596   **The adoption fee is higher for specialty breeds.**See the home page for adoption fee info:  https://spaythestrays.rescuegroups.org/Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 5, 2026, 2:18 pm

Story
Sam is such a loving and perfect boy who is still waiting to find his second chance. Sam is 13 years young and until recently had a home and a dad. His dad had been in and out of the hospital and sadly passed away. This was hard enough on Sam, but then the landlord wanted to rent his home so he put Sam outside ☹️ Sam came to us scared and confused. He had not lived with other animals before and we are sure it was a big culture shock to him…but he handled it all in stride ❤️ Sam has had full senior bloodwork, X-rays, and an ultrasound and has a great bill of health! He has some disc degeneration and arthritis which is normal for his age. He got a shot of solensia and has been running and jumping around much better. (This is a monthly shot from the vet). Sam would love to have a person or family of his own again. He loves being held, eats well, and even plays with toys now!
