Story
Background: I have been dealing with income insecurity for over 2 years and am unable to continue to provide for Chewie and his brothers. It makes me incredibly sad to give him up, but he deserves better than what I can provide. About Chewie: Chewie was adopted into the family in August of 2014 at about 10 weeks old, thus born in June-ish of 2014. He has lived in a multi-animal home his entire life. He has all his claws, is chipped, and is incredibly sweet. He loves lasers, wands, and his siblings. Chewie has lived with cats and dogs of both sexes and is very brave when introducing himself to new siblings. Chewie is an amazing cat, like his brothers, and deserves all the love in the world. He is incredibly healthy, other than the occasional hairball. He is quick to warm up to people and genuinely loves attention. I can't say enough good things about my boys, and I would take them in a heartbeat if I were adopting cats.

Story
Leonardo was found cowering outside, trapped and neutered.  When they tried to release him after surgery, he didn't want to leave the cage and stayed as close to the trapper as he could. Obviously he was an inside cat who was dumped outside and terrified by the experience. He has started warming up in his foster home. He will need a few days in a new home to allow him to be brave again. Email Shari.ahlers@yahoo.com  ##2607080##

Story
BMO is 1 year and 10 months, he was given to me as a gift by my father when he was just a kitten. Him and I spent lots of time together, he is perfect. Lately I’ve been working long shifts, sometimes even 24hours, leaving my family with the responsibility to care for him. He’s anxious when he’s alone, he needs a loving home with parents or kids able to give him the attention he needs. BMO has a low tolerance for big dogs as he was attacked by one when he was a kitten. But overall, I just want him to live a good life, which is why I didn’t put a price tag on him. P.S, he LOVES to talk.

He is such a loving cat but with my work schedule and also have 21 month old twin boys my schedule is t allowing me to give him the love he deserves. Story
Rhomus came to us at the beginning of March. He was rescued by good Samritans in Deland FL after being discovered with awful bite wounds and facial abcess. He was in bad shape and they took him to an emergency vet. They recieved a $1500 quote to fix his face injuries. They couldn't afford that, so they got him antibiotics and went home to call rescues.    We immediately wanted to help these good Samaritans because they had tried so hard (already) to help the cat. We knew our clinic partners would tend those wounds while he was being fixed. We had him neutered and his face patched up at Sheltering Hands. He tested FIV+ but that matters not. Rhombus is sweet and friendly... he poses no transmission risk to other cats. He had to see Dr Craft at Access about a month after his neuter because his wounds were worse and he had a URI cooking. With his FIV+ status, we have to be vigilant. Really it just means he has a comprised immune system. He has to try harder to heal.    But HEAL, HE DID! Rhombus has been on the mend ever since. His beautiful cheek fluff is growing back and we moved him to the farmhouse this week. He is an affectionate and intelligent cat. He is people centric and he is BIG. He doesn't have the typical wispy fur in his toes and ears... but he is a SPECTACULAR cat and he behaves like he is part MaineCoonCat. He is ready for a forever home and he wont last long once people start to meet him.    Fostered in Ocala FL. Text us at 352-843-6858 for a link to the adoption application for Rhombus. ##2324895##
