Meet Ainsley & Ainsbury Born September 7, 2025 These two fluffy miracles have already lived a lifetime of challenges—and they’re only a few months old. Ainsley and Ainsbury were picked up by Animal Control after being found struggling to survive. Another rescue initially took them in but quickly realized these tiny neonates needed intensive, around-the-clock care and returned them. That’s when Small Lives Matter stepped in. Neonates are our specialty, and we were determined to give these babies the fighting chance they deserved. Super social! Ainsley Ainsley is the petite princess of the pair—about a pound smaller than her big brother, but catching up fast. With her gorgeous dilute tortie coat and tiny streak of sass, she charms absolutely everyone. She’s a cuddly, affectionate little girl who loves warm laps, soft blankets, and being held close. Her sweet nature shines through everything she does, though she’s not afraid to show her tortie confidence when she wants attention. Ainsbury Ainsbury is a showstopper. This long-haired fluffball sports the cutest little moustache with a handsome curled swoop on each side—truly a one-of-a-kind look. His personality matches his Maine Coon–style features: gentle, intelligent, people-oriented, and wonderfully laid-back. He’s the type of kitten who watches the world with wise eyes, follows his humans from room to room, and melts into your arms the moment you pick him up. He has a calm, old-soul energy and an incredibly loving heart. Both kittens are long-haired mixes with soft, silky coats and affectionate temperaments. They are bonded not just by their survival journey but by a genuine sibling love—they play together, nap together, and find comfort in each other’s presence. She was found pregnant and very malnourished, but thanks to the kindness of a rescue friend who opened their home to foster her, Arabelle was able to safely welcome her kittens on May 30, 2025. With the support of Small Lives Matter Kitten Rescue, both mom and babies have received full veterinary care, including vaccines and spay/neuter surgeries, and are now ready for adoption at the cat café. Arabelle is truly as sweet as she is beautiful. She has a quiet, calm, and affectionate personality and has passed down her gentle nature to all of her kittens. Now that they’re grown, this calm and affectionate beauty is ready for a forever home of her own. Arabelle is quiet, loves soft pets and chin scratches, and enjoys simply being close to her people.
