Meet Plato The Fluffiest Philosopher With Very Strong Opinions Plato has always known exactly who he is. It just took the rest of us a minute to earn his trust. Born in a homeless camp to their resilient mom Era, Plato and his siblings survived a devastating fire that destroyed everything around them. Rescued at just 4 weeks old, still a tiny fluffball with blue eyes and barely coordinated legs, even as a tiny baby, Plato had opinions. He gave us the hardest time during rescue — outsmarting traps, dodging hands, and insisting he was a free spirit who didn’t need anyone. We tried everything. Then Plato discovered the truth: Humans bring treats, wand toys, chin rubs, and cuddles. Game over. Plato may be skeptical about change, but the moment a wand toy appears, it’s like magic. He transforms into an elite toy hunter — leaping, twisting, and showing everyone how it’s done. He’s shockingly athletic and impressively precise, basically a ninja disguised as a cloud. His favorite things include: • Wand toys (his true weakness) • Fluffy balls • Pipe cleaners • Kitty tunnels • Treats (instant friendship contract) Offer him a treat and congratulations — you are now best friends forever. Plato is the fluffiest fluff in the litter — unbelievably soft and made for hugging. Once he trusts you, he loves affection. He purrs when hugged, melts into chin rubs, and will gently tap your shoulder when he wants attention — often while presenting his wand toy like a formal request. He’s affectionate in a thoughtful, intentional way — never pushy, always meaningful. Plato’s journey from cautious survivor to affectionate companion is what makes him so special. He didn’t give his heart easily — but once he did, he gave it fully. Meet Mira The Gentle Princess Who Chooses You Forever Mira arrived in this world mostly made of baby fluff and hope, about 90% fluff, 10% kitten, and 100% heart. Born in a homeless camp to their devoted mom Era, Mira and her siblings survived a devastating fire that destroyed everything they knew. Rescued at just 4 weeks old, Mira didn’t fight being saved — she seemed instantly grateful. From the very beginning, she would simply sit in your arms, purring herself to sleep like she already knew she was safe. Personality: Soft, Observant, and Sweetly Loyal Mira has blossomed into a beautiful medium-haired princess, elegant and gentle. She loves being in the middle of the action — not to cause chaos, but to observe everything. Her favorite spots include the center of the room and the top of the kitchen island, where she can watch life unfold like a royal overseeing her kingdom. She follows you from room to room and happily settles into your lap whenever you sit down, content just to be close. Mira is a little skeptical at first — just a tiny baby making sure the world is safe. But once she decides you’re her person, she bonds deeply and forever. She enjoys being picked up after trust is built and will happily melt into your arms. One of her favorite things? This handsome guy was a rescue when I adopted him in 2012. He is the sweetest, most loving (and quite talkative!) cat. He will be 14 years young on February 15, 2026. He is current on all of his shots and is house trained. His teeth are in excellent shape, which is always noticed during appointments. Thor‘s perfect forever home is with someone who is more of a homebody and can give him the attention and companionship he deserves.

PRINCE and PERRY are BEST buddies&#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143!!  They are very bonded and must be adopted together. They will bring JOY to your home and you will not worry about them being lonely if you go out because they have each other! Both are very healthy, neutered, negative for all feline diseases and vaccinated.  Meet His Royal Majesty, Prince! Prince is a handsome, regal fellow who truly is the prince of the home. Not only is he beautiful and soft, but he is such a sweetheart! It won’t be long before he’s begging for head rubs once he gets used to you. He will rub up against your legs to let you know he’s eager for some attention. This  big boy will happily flop on his side as you pet him and brush through his long mane. After a royal grooming session, he’ll leap and jump as you wave a wand toy around! He’s laid back but also playful and happy exploring space in his foster home. Prince would benefit from being adopted into a quieter home with his best buddy, Perry. The two boys do everything together! They are both sweethearts who aren’t picky with food and will be a wonderful addition to a calm home.   Meet Perry! Perry is a sweet tabby boy with lots of love to give. He love cheek rubs from just about anyone! He’ll rub his face all over your hand to help you get to scratching all his hot spots (don’t forget the chin! He LOVES chin scratches) and hop on your lap for cuddles once he is comfortable enough. Not only is he a sweetheart, but once he builds up the courage, he will run and jump around when you take out his favorite wand toy. Perry is a funny guy who loves hide and seek - he’ll teach you how to find him in some spots of your home you never knew existed! He and his best buddy, Prince would love to be in a nice, quiet  home together since they’ve never been apart. Tony is a sweet, affectionate 10-year-old cat who loves calm companionship and a predictable routine. He enjoys cozy spots, gentle attention, and a peaceful home where he can truly relax. As Tony has gotten older, he’s shown he does best in a quiet environment, without children, and ideally as the only pet. Busy, high-activity households can be stressful for him, leading to litter box challenges. We’ve worked closely with our veterinarian and tried multiple solutions, but it’s become clear that Tony would thrive most in a low-stimulation home. Tony would be a wonderful match for someone looking for a loving, mature cat who values tranquility and one-on-one attention. In the right setting, we truly believe he will settle in beautifully and be a devoted companion.

Creamsicle came to us as a stray on our porch, which sits along an extremely busy road a mile from the interstate. We took him in despite already having four other cats, as our then 2 year old daughter was in love and would have been devastated to see him turn up as roadkill. Unfortunately he was picked on by those senior cats early on, and between that and our very divided attention, he never quite overcame his feral state. He seems very much to want to be friendly, but he'll get scared and snap at you over the slightest provocation. I feel that a new home with no other cats (and no very young children, as they're unpredictable and scary for Creamsicle) could help break his stress cycle and allow him to relax and enjoy his old age. He would do well with a lot of attention, and is very food-motivated to boot.

Crookshanks is a super gentle, sweet, and nurturing orange longhair kitty. She does well with other animals, and I could see doing well with children. She loves scratches, sweet talk, and cuddles. She also will never turn down a warm sun beam, and enjoys her water fountain. She loves her humans through bread loafing on their chest with deep purrs and wide eyes. She is a fierce protector of her pack! True to her name, she is typically keeping tabs on what is going on around the house, and has even alerted us when something was off with our other cat. Crookshanks would thrive in a family she can nurture, including with other animals, children, or a family without children. Crookshanks has a sister Cici, who we ideally would like to join Crookshanks on her transition. However, this is not required. She is up-to-date on all vaccines, spayed, and turning 6 years old in August. $90 adoption fee to update microchip. Located in Decatur, GA.
