Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Alex and his brother were dropped on our porch a few months ago. They were both in very bad shape but have recovered. Alex is a super sweet kitty who loves sleeping with his foster mom and sits next to her all the time. He loves other kitties and has a best friend in foster, Cassian.   Alex would like a playmate in his new home. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Please note: All CatRangers cats and kittens are spayed or neutered as a part of their adoption package, which also includes testing for feline aids (FIV) and Feline Leukemia (Felv), age appropriate vaccines, flea and other parasite treatments and a microchip. If you adopt a young kitten that is not old enough for surgery, we will schedule a surgery appointment after the adoption. Special breed descriptions listed in our kitty¹s profiles are based on information we have about their other family members when available, as well as traits that match those breeds. Most of our cats and kittens are mixed breeds unless specified otherwise. How our Adoption Process Works: We take loving care to help match the right kitty with the right family.  1. Ideally identify a couple of kitty candidates on our website, use the advanced search capability to find what you need.  You can also tell our team what you are looking for and they will help with suggestions.  If you are seeing our kitties on an adoption website you may want to pop on over to www.catrangers.org where we often have even more pictures. 2. Fill out an application online at catrangers.org. Once we have an application our adoption team can work with you to arrange appointments for either virtual or in person meetings with candidate kitties.  Kittens are kept in foster homes to make sure they are being properly socialized.  Visits may be virtual, at foster's home or at the CatRangers Center in Buford. 3. Our adoption team conducts a brief phone call with you and later, a virtual home visit, to make sure you are fully prepared for your new kitty. Our team also checks with your vet and personal references.   (We really want to you and our kitty to have the very best chance for a lifetime of loving success.) 4. Once application is approved and adoption fee is paid, we reserve the kitty you have selected. The adoption fee includes all vaccines up to the time of adoption. Kitties have been Felv/FIV tested, treated for fleas and parasites, and have been microchipped. Your adoption fee includes a spay/neuter if your selected kitty has not already been altered. Some kitties are very popular and you need to move quickly to select those you are interested in and get through the process for your first choice as a furever friend. However, please do be patient with our volunteer team. And while you are on our website, if you are interested in volunteering or fostering, please fill out applications! Spayed or Neutered,
Story
We got Messiah in 2012, he was about 6 weeks old. His birthday is on Cinco De Mayo. My daughter asked for him while my husband was out of town, he said you can get him as long as you feed him and keep him off of my bed. My daughter fed him a few times and he became my cat and now 11 years later he sleeps on the bed with my husband and I lol I'm looking for a laid back home with lots of places for Mess to jump up on or hid under. He likes jumping in boxes and taking a nap or watching what's going on around him. He is playful, funny and loves to snuggle next to you to take a nap and you can take one too!

Story
We got him from a guy in Walmart's parking lot because my daughter wanted a cat. He is 11 and we have had him since he was about 5 weeks old. Fun fact: He was born on Cinco De Mayo. We would like a loving family one which he can sleep on the bed with someone if he wants to. He is friendly, loving and likes to get in empty boxes for fun.

Story
Nikka is an extremely loving cat (she’s 8y/o). She loves to cuddle and being around people. Once she’s confident, we consider her personality to be more that of a dog than a cat (she’s very playful and seeks your company). She’s normally scared/not good with children, but with time and dedication she can get along (she loves our 4y/o). She’s, however, extremely scared of dogs. She never got along with our dog, although she came into our family first. We’re deeply sorry for having to rehome her, and look forward for her to join a family that will love her as deeply as we do, and to have patience with her as she gets used to her new home. Nikka has always had issues using the litter box. After multiple trials we got her to pee in a pad and poo in a box. However, if a carpet is available, she prefers it. We are currently expecting our second baby, and having him crawling on a soiled carpet is not our preference. It is our hope that she finds a forever home that overflows with love.
