Tabby kittens & cats in Worcester, Massachusetts

My wife passed away and I am moving and can not take my cats with me. They are 6 year old sisters and I would prefer they stay together. One orange and one orange and white. They are spayed and fully house trained. They are extremely friendly and are great with children

Lulu is a sweet, mild mannered, adaptable friend/companion full of love. She has learned to live with dogs but remains cautious. She has been both indoors and outdoors through her 14 years with my family. Today she prefers to remain mostly indoors. She has lived with us from kitten age in upstate New York through both California and North Carolina, to now Massachusetts. Her heart and intellect shine brightest beside her loyal friendship. Though she had never demanded it, she deserves the spotlight. She is love.

Daisy is 6 years old. He is a housecat and litterbox trained. He does not go outdoors at all but enjoys sitting in a closed in porch and by open windows. He has some experience with dogs but it has been a few years since our dog passed away. Daisy loves attention. He is a little shy at first but will come out of his favorite hideaway when new people are around for a meet and greet when things are relatively quiet. We do not have time to give Daisy the attention he needs

6-23-26 Luca is the sweetest little baby! A perfect kitten; he loves people and is already a lap cat. A curious little guy who loves to play and explore. He is neutered, tested and vaccinated and wormed. We think he would do best with another feline companion. And would do best with gentle children. PLEASE EMAIL US FOR AN APPLICATION!

5-19-26 Pickle is a beautiful, shiny and sleek mackerel tabby with short black fur and silver stripes. His white chin, chest and feet are adorable! These pictures don't do him justice, but he's only about 10-12 months old - and almost always in motion! He does have his down time, can be super mellow and he'd be a great companion for a person-but with other cats he can be aggressive and he's young and plays rough. He was found wandering and hungry on the city streets, so we think he may do better as an only cat. He was just neutered, tested negative for diseases and vaccinated. Meet Links! Links is an adorable gray tabby boy born in July who currently weighs about 5 lbs. He and his sister, Butters, were found on a rainy night abandoned on a dirt road in rural Alabama, but this little survivor hasn’t let his rough start dim his bright spirit. True to his name, Links is fast as lightning! He loves racing around, climbing the cat tree, and turning playtime into his own little adventure. When the zoomies are over, he’s just as happy being held and will reward you with a loud, happy purr. Links is a fun-loving, sweet kitten who enjoys both playtime and affection. He’s also litter box trained and ready to settle into a loving forever home. If you’re looking for a playful little buddy who will keep you entertained and then curl up purring in your arms, Links might be your perfect match. 🐾🐱 If interested in adopting one of our available pets, please fill out an application at http://www.dixiegirldogrescue.org/adopt-form Our rescue are fostered in Alabama foster homes and are posted for adoption once they are completely vetted and ready to travel. Julian Edelman aka Jules is a sweet, goofy independent boy who would love a quiet home with one or two people. He would love a person who could take him outside but make sure he comes back, lots of catnip, and churus. He wants to do his own thing until he decides he wants to knead the blanket on your lap. Don’t let his one eye stop you- he’d make a great companion to someone with the right knowledge.

Are you looking for quiet companionship? If so, Stormi may be the one for you. Stormi is currently in one of our wonderful foster homes so we know her very well. Her foster mom says she's a quiet cat who likes napping near her, is curious when visitors come by and loves her catnip. (Check out the video of her playing with a catnip toy!) She isn’t a lap cat yet, but she does like head pets. She uses an upright scratcher and scratching pads. Stormi’s story starts out a bit sad. Her family moved but couldn’t take her with them. In that home, Stormi was described as loving and affectionate! So she’s looking for a fresh start with someone who is patient and can let her settle in at her own pace. If you have a quiet home and would like to give Stormi her happy ending, we’d love to have you meet her in her Cambridge foster home. Cleo is a high energy kitty who will need an experienced owner who's up for a lot of play time with her! She may be small in stature, but she's large in personality. She loves to zoom around and interact with toys. When she’s worn out from playing she’s a super sweet cuddle bug that loves pets and just being near her person. She plays rough and can be nippy and swatty, but will stop if you don’t react. Because of these behaviors, Cleo needs to go to an adult-only home. And no small apartments please.Cleo does not like other animals, so she will need to be someone's one and only pet. When she’s worn out from playing she’s a super sweet cuddle bug that loves pets and just being near her person. She also loves looking out windows. She makes the cutest chirping noises and will always run up to greet you. Cleo is being fostered in Watertown.
