Story
Li Shu is an adorable tabby kitten from St. John in the Virgin Islands. We are in Massachusetts as are in kittens. Li Shu has grown up for her bonded mate Shere Khan, a boy. Shere is the more outgoing of the two, but when Li Shu gets to know you, she sits on your lap and loves attention. We think she will continue to thrive outside of a shelter environment. She is fixed, up to date on vaccines and ready to go home with her best feline buddy Shere.

Story
Shere Khan is named for a feline deity. He is from St. John in the US Virgin Islands, where they have an overpopulation problem. Shere is a snuggly, sweet boy, loving head scratches and engaging in a game of chase the mouse with you. His best feline pal is Li Shu (also named for a feline goddess) and she is just a tad more cautious than he is, but she will climb in your lap when all is quiet and predictable. These kittens are absolutely wonderful! I picked them out and brought them back from the Caribbean and am hoping that they find the absolute perfect home. Could that be you?

Story
Puck is 14 years old and still going strong. We got him from a friend back in 2012 along with his sister. He and his sister used to stay upstairs and our dog downstairs, but he lost his sister recently and he wants to be downstairs with us but unfortunately we have to rehome him because our dog Rex is too aggressive with him and he's not safe with him around. He's very shy and may take a while to warm up to you, but is very affectionate once he does. He would not do well with a dog in the house unless the dog is very quiet and gentle, and would probably be ok with other cats but he's only known his sister so we're not sure. He does use the litter but will sometimes pee in the bathtub as an alternative. It would be great to know he's going directly to a loving home rather than take him to a shelter to wait for adoption.

Story
Butterscotch is a 14-year-old cat who just wants to be loved and sit on someone’s lap all the time. He is also quite vocal and likes to meow a lot to get attention and can be particularly active at night. We love him dearly, but we now have a new dog and he just terrorizes the cat and the cat just aggravates the dog and it is not sustainable. I am trying to find a loving home for him to spend out the next few years of his life. He has no other issues except needing attention.

Story
Lovebug Alert! Nessarose has been nothing but sweet and chill since coming into our care! Check out her video and you'll see what we mean! And it's a pleasure to pet Nessa since she's super soft. Think chinchilla soft! Nessa's foster parent says she is a sweet, calm, gentle soul who loves human company. She will quietly sit by your side or on your lap and purr. She will make a great companion. She loves butt scratches and chin rubs. She acclimated to her foster home quite quickly accepting pets after just a few minutes of being there. Nessa is a a bit overweight, so she'll need an owner who can help her safely get down to a healthy weight under the guidance of her new vet. Story
This lovely girl is one of the nicest cats you'll ever meet. She not only loves her people, but is social with visitors as well. She was surrendered by her owner after she let her outside and she got hit by a car, and she could no longer afford her care. While Mandy just turned 9 years old, don't be fooled - she acts half her age. During the day she plays with her toys, and has no trouble jumping on the kitchen counter to play in the sink - yeah, we're working on that. She spends most of the day looking out the window and watching all the critters run around, but from the safety of her cat tree. At night she enjoys sitting with her person on the sofa watching TV or being gently brushed. Watch your hands - she loves to give lots of those sandpaper tongue kisses! She is showing early signs of mild kidney disease, but it's easily managed by feeding her a high quality canned food-only diet. Her bloodwork showed significant improvement from when she was first surrendered, so one of our consulting vets believes that good nutrition will keep her stable for some time to come. In her original home she did live with a large number of cats but she was not a big fan of interacting with them. She does okay with one of the cats in her foster home, so she probably could live with another cat after a slow and careful introduction. However, Mandy is not one to cuddle with another cat, she prefers to save that for her humans, and loved sleeping on the bed next to her original mom.. Mandy is fully vetted and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $225 and she is being fostered in Worcester.
