Story
Very sweet and affectionate guy who is 3-4 years old. Got him for my 6 year old but he does not seem to like her (not aggressive towards her). I have a bearded dragon that has been very stressed out since kitty moved in so I would love to find a new loving home for him.

Story
Arriving during the pandemic, Cappuccino wasn't an "instant coffee" cat. He was a slow-pour - initially shy, watching from the shadows until he decided the humans met his standards. Once caution settled, he revealed his true flavor: a playful, deeply affectionate explorer who treats the home as his personal kingdom. An elite athlete, Cappuccino is an excellent jumper, scaling heights with ease to survey his domain. He is also a connoisseur of the "clink," preferring "industrial" toys like metallic pins and paperclips; feathers are welcomed as well. A natural investigator, a dedicated digger, he even loves splashing and playing with water. He is happy to be held but prefers to set the pace. He’ll sit loyally by your side, but he decides exactly when the petting session begins and ends. While he loves the luxury of being brushed, he has a strict "no cut" policy. He fully embraces high-tech living - like his automated feeder and litter box - proving he is a modern cat for a modern home.

Story
We adopted Jinx in 2014 from Baypath. Curious and aloof, she was joined at home in 2020 by our new dog, whom she tolerated and learned to like. However, family changes brought two more dogs and a much busier home into her life in 2025. Jinx has had a difficult time adapting to the new dynamics. She is an indoor cat and, I believe, would be happiest in a quiet home.

Story
Jade is a shy lady who is very food motivated. Once she warms up, she will follow you around and become vocal. She is very playful and loves to be brushed. She enjoys splashing water in a bowl, but despises getting wet or washed. She was born on May 8th, 2015, has been raised indoor for her entire life with me. She has been socialized with people since she was a few days old, but she can be very shy around unfamiliar faces. She has no interest in going outdoors but she loves to observe birds through the window. Due to our severe allergies to cats, we have made the heartbreaking decision to rehome Jade (and our other cat, Kimbo). She misses human touch and cuddle, so anyone who enjoys cuddling would be her ideal new partner.

Story
Meet Links! Links is an adorable gray tabby boy born in July who currently weighs about 5 lbs. He and his sister, Butters, were found on a rainy night abandoned on a dirt road in rural Alabama, but this little survivor hasn’t let his rough start dim his bright spirit. True to his name, Links is fast as lightning! He loves racing around, climbing the cat tree, and turning playtime into his own little adventure. When the zoomies are over, he’s just as happy being held and will reward you with a loud, happy purr. Links is a fun-loving, sweet kitten who enjoys both playtime and affection. He’s also litter box trained and ready to settle into a loving forever home. If you’re looking for a playful little buddy who will keep you entertained and then curl up purring in your arms, Links might be your perfect match. 🐾🐱 If interested in adopting one of our available pets, please fill out an application at http://www.dixiegirldogrescue.org/adopt-form Our rescue are fostered in Alabama foster homes and are posted for adoption once they are completely vetted and ready to travel. Story
Hello, My cat CeeDee was born outside by his stray mother. We took him and his brother in really young and have taken care of him the last 2 years. It has come time where with our other pets it’s just too expensive to keep him. Another minor flaw is he is not great with our dogs. Some days he’s good but some days he can be really nasty towards them. To our other cats he’s an angel and also loves everyone in the house. It’s hard for him to go a day without being loved so be prepared for him to lick you and rub into you! I truly want the best home for him and am willing to cooperate whoever best fit to help him relocate to his new forever home.

Seven Lucky Kitties – Looking for Their Second ChanceThese seven beautiful cats survived a devastating house fire in Worcester, and every single one of them is a true survivor. They’ve been through something no animal should ever experience - smoke, chaos, fear, and sudden loss of the only home they knew. Some have small burn injuries, all are still learning to trust again, but each one has a spark of bravery that’s beginning to shine through.Right now, they need gentle, patient adopters who understand that healing takes time. Soft voices, slow movements, and a calm environment will help them blossom into the loving companions we know they can be.Although they previously had indoor/outdoor access, we are seeking indoor-only homes to keep them safe as they continue to recover and build confidence. They can be adopted in pairs or individually.
