Story
Persephone is a super sweet cat. She however is terrified of my dog and I’ve tried to acclimate her as I have had her since she was a kitten. She is super sweet and would do well in a house with no dogs. She is good with other cats and older children. I feel that she would be less stressed in a setting without any dogs even though I am sad to let her go, I would be happy if she went to a good home and wasn’t stressed. She is spayed she does need her immunizations boosted. She has received all initial vet care through Lilly vet clinic.

Story
Moki is a beautiful male kitty. He's a alpha kitty who's been living in a smaller home with a lot of other male cats and that is not something a alpha cat can do easily. He wants his person to belong to him, not share with many other cats. Also the home he's in has an indoor smoker who's been filling the house with cigarette smoke that has affected the cat's health in the house. Moki needs to get out of this home where he's not doing well at all. We are looking for a non-smoking home where he is the only pet. No children and someone who is home often or there are two people so he's not only. Also he needs a home that is a house and not an apartment where there is a lot of traffic. The views from the windows need to be a relaxing view. He is easily set off with stress, so he needs a calm relaxing space in which to live. For more information call or text me at 517 294 4514 and make sure to leave your phone number. Or email me your phone number to marlas2468@yahoo.com. He does have a inhaler he needs occasionally, but it's very affordable. $15 and lasts for months.

Story
Peaches is a cutie poo and the best mother ever. Medium to long fur, gorgeous coloring. Sweet and super friendly, No little kids for her, but okay with teens and mature people. She's snuggly and friendly. She is social and sweet, a love bug. She was found by a man who hoped to keep her, but his cats didn't make that possible. She had four babies, Kiwi, Payaya, Mango and Apricoton Born Feb 28th and the babies will be adopted in pairs when they are old enough. We are looking for a non-smoking home with a pet parent who is a compassionate person. For more information call or text me at 517 294 4514 or email me your phone number to marlas2468@yahoo.com

Story
Miley came from some very sketchy beginnings. When I got her, her ears were super dirty, she was covered in scabs. She was the size of a small kitten with super huge paws. She was very skinny, and her fur was disheveled and broken fur lengths. She was starved but through all that, she was purring and rubbing all over me. She came from a neighborhood where the houses were really old and not kept up, two burned up homes on one side, the street on the other homes had broken windows. She was inside but she smelled of urine. We took her home and cleaned her up and she ate two full bowls of food immediately. It was as if she hadn't seen food in many days or weeks possibly. She drank down a bowl of water in two minutes. She is so very sweet; she probably would have been a lot bigger had she gotten nutrition and was not covered in scabs. I'm sure she had fleas at one time even though we didn't see any, but we have taken care of that already just to make sure. We didn't see any or fleas, but someone was eating her alive in the not-so-distant past. The house she came out of was horrible. She's a Maine coon mix and once she is brought completely back to good health, I'm sure she will be gorgeous and grow into those large paws she has. We are looking for a non-smoking, indoor only home. For more information call or text, me at 517 294 4514 or email me your phone number to marlas2468@yahoo.com

Story
Shia was at one time someone's baby. He was dumped in a trailer park, wandering for......a time. A nice lady started feeding him and got him in to be fixed and vetted. He was boney and although, large, not the weight he should be. At first he was shy but started warming up quickly and will take a little time in a new house to do the same, but not that long. He's willing to come out of his shell quickly and you can tell by petting him, he just wants to be loved. His coat is dis shoveled pretty badly, he'd been beating up by other outdoor male cats but now that he's inside full time, he is starting to look better with the nutritious food he's getting and the love, it makes all the difference. He's healthy right now, and we intend on keeping him that way. He has, although been diagnosed with FIV. He wants to be an only cat in the home anyway and he can live a long time with FIV as long life as he's happy and well fed. He has a compromised system from the FIV but these cats can still live many years as long as they are not stressed out and the pet parent is feeding healthy food, keeping them indoors, have a low-key household so not having a metal band practicing in the house and doesn't have people living there who are yelling a lot of the time. A calm home, meaning house, not a apartment, with a catio or in the burbs with a peaceful view of the world would do him wonders. HE IS SUPER AFFECTIONATE, even on day one he wants to rub on his person. We are looking for a non smoking home for him. We know he's too inward to be around kids, we are not sure if he's going to be okay around a dog who is cat friendly or not, but we know he's not a fan of other cats because he's been in scuffles with other males while he was outside. We are learning more day by day. He'd be okay in a home with older children, ages 12 and older. For more information call 517 294 4514 or email me your phone number to marlas2468@yahoo.com

Story
My name is Nero's Twin and I was born 3/1/23 and haven't had much interaction with humans prior to entering the rescue. I am learning, and come out for quiet, treat time. I am beautiful, with a coat like no other, long muzzle and striking pattern. I will need patience and lots of TLC to adjust to human contact and become a housecat. I am a hider when it comes to humans, sometimes giving a quick, gentle hiss letting you know I'm nervous, before going to a comforting, quiet hiding spot. Although I am part Maine Coon, I'm human dependent for food and INSIDE shelter. Although I've been outside, I MUST be a housecat due to my thick, long coat, inability to hunt and survive outside on my own, and skittish ways. **If you are considering adopting me because of my breed, please know it can take up to 6 months for me to get comfortable in a quiet home. I may never be a lap cat, but more of a night crawler who comes out at night while I adjust. If a social lap cat is your goal, I might not be the right fit. I also might surprise you in time and come out more with calm energy, lots of safe hiding spots, and the ability to come along at my own pace. We are a Christian-based organization with a Mission to improve the lives of cats. We specialize in cats that will bond closely, but would otherwise 'age out on the shelf' because they are shy, or need special understanding. Without it, they would never know the love, safety, and comfort of a furever home. *Please do not adopt if you believe in disciplining a cat, including ‘water bottle training’. We are a behavioral rescue and believe in positive redirection to adjust behavior, rather than punishment with cats.*
