Maine Coon kittens & cats in Knightdale, North Carolina

Silas is a 7 year old neutered male Maine Coon mix. He is a loveable & sociable cat. We rescued him as a kitten at 2-3 months old. He is diabetic & is on insulin. He is doing good on his medicine. Unfortunately, it requires being home to feed and give it to him. Our family dynamic has changed & it is hard to be there for him. We had never had a cat in the house before getting Silas. We found out later that my husband is allergic & has recently developed some other medical issues making it hard to be around him. He is used to a dog in the house (he grew up with our dog). He is good with people, easy to hold, & play with. He purrs a lot & loves to lay in your lap. He is an indoor cat, but he loves to go outside & look around. We have a screened in porch that he goes on. He will take a bath & play fetch with his toy mouse. He is up to date on all vaccines & vet visits. We think he would do well in an environment with adults & older kids, retired person or one who works from home.

Rocky is a sweet boy. He is not neutered. He is exceptional with children and will cuddle and love on them all day. Rehoming due to a newly discovered allergy with our children.

This sweet girl is shy but sweet. She loves to sit in her little tent or cubby and survey her kingdom. Once she knows she is safe, she is a lover girl but will need patience and a quiet home to help her blossom. Once you have gained this beautifully fluffy girl's trust, she will ask for head rubs and will sashay around you showing off her magnificent tail. Muriel is as sweet as she is fluffy but she doesn't let her beauty go to her head - this girl is graceful, sweet and truly loving. UPDATE: I now crave attention and love pets and will twine around your legs and seek it out. Will I give you the occasional hiss - yes! Do I know what a hiss means - No!! Do I continue to seek you out for attention and act like a kitten batting at strings hanging on your clothing - yes, to that too!! This is a sweet but quirky man who may be the cutest cat alive.  -I am a gorgeous boy who has had a bit of a rough life and that has led me to be suspicious of some people (especially men). I have tried meditating but found that setting boundaries (3 pets on the head and not 4; snuggles only when authorized) is the best way to go. My person who gave me all the love in all the right doses passed away and now I am looking for that purrfect person who understands that I don't have the best communications skills but have so much love to give.. I am gorgeous, fluffy, entertaining and low energy. I am an easy boy to have around. I do have allergies to dust and such and as such may sneeze some artsy snotalicious designs upon occasion but it doesn't slow me down and I don't mind if you don't. I was overlooked by people before my last mom (who passed away and I miss her a lot)  because I am FIV+. What does that mean? Not a lot. It is mostly a label. He has that classic Maine Coon charm—fluffy, handsome, and laid-back. Rusty would do great in a quieter home with no dogs and no small children, where he can hang about and enjoy the occasional play session.
