Sterling is a 6 year old neutered male suspected mainecoone mix. Due to life circumstances, I am having to make the tough decision to find him a new home. Sterling is a bit shy at first, but once he warms up he is very loving and friendly. He is low maintenance and well behaved and spends most of his day sleeping in various spots. Sterling has a crooked jaw due to breaking his jaw when he was a kitten and having surgery. Due to this, his eye on the same side as the jaw injury is always leaky. It doesn't seem to cause him any issues and he has no other issues going on because of it, I just clean his eyes extra. Sterling would do best in a home with cats younger than him, as he has been bullied by older cats before since he is submissive. He is fine around dogs and is good with people and kids. Rose was taken in by a very kind woman who knew she and her mom wouldn’t survive the cold winter. Thanks to that act of compassion, Rose is now thriving and ready for a forever home. Rose is a stunning tortoiseshell with a sweet-and-spicy personality to match her looks. Her silky coat is growing into a beautiful long-haired floof, and her expressive tail is always showing off her attitude. She plays well on her own, is well socialized with a big, gentle dog, and enjoys kiddo playtime—especially when string toys are involved. Rose is a sweet girl with just the right touch of sass, making her a delightful and entertaining companion.

He was scanned for a microchip and luckily, since Yeezus had been adopted from AAR, he had a registered chip and we were contacted. A volunteer drove several hours to pick up Yeezus and he's safe again with an AAR foster family while we find him a new home! Yeezus is a gentle 10-year-old cat and would probably do best as an only pet in a quiet home. Yeezus loves to play with a string toy and enjoys a good brushing. He's also an avid head bumper, which is his special way of communicating! Note: While roaming outside, Yeezus became severely matted. We're in the process of helping him recover his gorgeous luxurious coat but when you meet him, he might look a little rough or have been shaved. We know that Yeezus will be back to his handsome self in no time!

Unfortunately my boyfriend has made the end of my pregnancy very hard with fighting with me constantly about my 8 month old kitten, I dont have any choice but to rehome him to try to find some peace especially within our relationship. About three months after we met, we wandered together over to Foster Meowmy’s back yard in East Houston, and she was kind enough to bring us both inside when the February arctic freeze hit. Buddy says, “I’m a big, gentle, calm, and affectionate brown tabby Maine Coon fella who luxuriates when Foster Meowmy scratches my ears, rubs my belly, and brushes the long locks on my wispy mane, body, and flowing tail. I’m rather a lethargic couch potato, and sleeping peacefully on Foster Meowmy’s chest is one of my favorite pastimes.” Pina says, “I’m a cuddly and sweet but spicy and energetic tortoiseshell gal who flaunts my proverbial “tortitude” with flair and offers my opinions with confident panache. I know that I’d disappoint you if I didn’t live up to the tortie’s reputation of sassiness when being affectionate with my hoomans -- on my terms, of course.” Although we’re both pretty asymptomatic, we both are classified as having special needs. Buddy says, “I tested positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV+), which I probably contracted from the deep bite wound from an intact male cat. (Unlike Feline Leukemia, FIV is NOT passed on "casually" by sharing food bowls and litter boxes with other household cats.) Being FIV positive doesn’t stop me from living my best life as long as my dental health is routinely monitored and prompt attention is given to any urinary-tract or upper-respiratory infections.” Pina says, “Just before the February arctic freeze, Foster Meowmy found me collapsed and unresponsive in her backyard. She rushed me to the vet, who diagnosed and successfully treated me for a respiratory infection, and I still occasionally suffer from asthma as a leftover result of that nasty infection. To this day, I gratefully owe my life to Foster Meowmy.” Although we both have stolen Foster Meowmy’s heart, we think it’s time for us to let her resident cats bask in her unshared attention and to find a forever family of very own. Luna is a sweet & gentle girl who likes her own space. Spends most of her day napping and is usually happiest relaxing by herself or with one person she trusts. She loves to cuddle when she’s in the mood and has a really sweet personality. She loves sleeping on a heating pad, laying on pizza boxes for some reason, and playing with her little mouse toys. She enjoys a calm environment and she gets along well with other cats. I got Luna after her mother gave birth to her outside of my dad’s job. She has been a sweet part of my life ever since, and I want to find her a calm, peaceful, and loving home.
