Ventus is a one-of-a-kind cat with a quirky personality that keeps things interesting in the best way. He is very food-motivated, which makes him highly responsive during feeding time and a great candidate for continued positive reinforcement training. Ventus is also very communicative—he is not shy about expressing how he feels and uses a variety of vocal cues and body language to let you know what he wants or when he needs space. Once he is comfortable, his playful and affectionate side begins to shine through, showing just how engaging and entertaining he can be. Ventus would do best in a patient, understanding home that appreciates a cat with personality, humor, and a strong sense of individuality.

We love this cat so much. I adopted him when he was about 1 year old in 2019 so he is about 8. He is precious and I am so sad to have to part ways with him but I have become allergic and, more importantly, he is waking up my infant son in the night and we have not been able to find a solution to that. If we can find a really good fit we will part ways. He is missing his back right paw but he has not let that get in the way of a full life. He is indoor/outdoor. He loves his time outside.

PURRS LOUDLY AND OFTEN  DOB 7/26/26 Hey there, everyone! I’m Cupid, an affectionate, friendly, inquisitive, and cuddly Classic tabby Maine Coon/ domestic medium hair mix fella. I must admit I’m very handsome with my bold leg stripes against a taupe background as well as dark marble swirls on my sides. When I first see Foster Meowmy, I run to greet her in hopes that she’ll pick me up. I’m in hog heaven when she settles me in her lap so she can shower me with chin scratches and head massages. To communicate my delight at all of her attention, I often turn on my purr motor so loudly that she has to turn up the TV. I don’t play alone, but I love to engage interactively with Foster Meowmy when she waves the wand toy over my head or wiggles the ribbon stick like a snake around the room. It’s a special treat for me when I ride in my very own stroller! Foster Meowmy thinks I’m awesomely smart because I understand when she tells me “no.” When I was about seven weeks old, I was rescued in Foster Meowmy’s neighborhood as a hungry but friendly stray with no momma or siblings in sight. I was much too young to fend for myself in the hardscrabble life, so I was delighted when she brought me to the safe haven of her home. I get along great with the resident cats, who have taught the manners that my momma would’ve if she’d been around. I’m cautious about the resident dogs, however, because I don’t like their loud barking, and so I hide. Now I’m ready to cuddle as well as purr loudly and often with my forever family.
