For Simba, those little moments are big accomplishments.Simba does well with the other cats in his foster home, and a friendly feline companion could help him feel at home. With people, he prefers affection with all four paws on the ground. He allows petting but currently doesn’t enjoy being picked up or held.Starting Life with Simba• Start small. Give him a quiet safe room with food, water, a litter box, a scratching surface, and a cozy hiding spot. Let him become comfortable there before gradually introducing more of the home.• Let him set the pace. Sit nearby, talk softly, and allow him to approach. Short, comfortable visits will help him learn that your company feels safe.• Build a routine. Consistent meals and gentle daily interaction can give him something familiar to count on.
