Her personality is extremely sweet and vocal She can be very chill. She just loves to hang out and snuggle. She occasionally likes to play once she has settled in and she is comfortable with the other people and animals in the home.

Miss Kitty, is a female calico Maine Coon. She is 3 years old. Her owner had to go to memory care, her owner also named her Miss Kitty. Now Miss Kitty needs a new home (and maybe a new name) with someone who can cherish her as much as she is accustomed too. Miss Kitty is spayed, microchipped and a trip to the veterinarian pronounced her healthy. Her vaccinations have been updated, including rabies and she was already combo tested negative. She uses a scratching pad for her nails, her cat tree comes with her along with toys. She will need an x large litter box.  Miss Kitty has only been inside or on an enclosed patio so an indoor only home. I took in this cat after a friend asked me to, her previous owner had tried to hurt her. She is fine with my large dog, she is fine with my other car, however he is young and antagonizes her. She uses the litter box just fine, however when stressed or upset in any way she has a tendency to specifically poop on carpet. She prefers to be near a window and left alone. She is very quiet. I have a kennel she prefer to be in, when she detects anyone coming around she will run into the kennel to hide. Her breed is an assumption.

All-Around Grade A Cat! Meet Kusco! This lovebug has big paws and a bushy tail. Isn't he handsome? Generally a mellow guy, Kusco friendly, enjoys meeting new people, and is also curious enough to look into cupboards or new spaces. He's quite chatty too, especially when he wants food or attention. When he's in a playful mood, he'll play for a long time with balls and springs. He particularly loves chasing a worm wand toy! This Maine Coon mix is a very affectionate boy and likes to be around his humans. Often he likes to be in the same room and just sit nearby while you work. Other times, though, he wants pets. He's an older guy who isn't the biggest fan of being held but definitely loves his head rubs and ear or chin scritches. In the evenings, he sits next to his fosters and snoozes. He'll sit on laps only when he wants to and lets you pick him up for a snuggle before getting down. When he's had his fill of pets, he will let you know. Like many cats, he likes attention on his own terms! Kusco has a history of inappetence, and should be monitored to make sure he is eating regularly. He is on meds for liver support. While being in foster care, Kusco had positive interactions with a babysitter's cat. His foster believes he'd like having a cat friend more than being an only cat. Also while at his babysitter's house, he met and tolerated three well-trained dogs. He currently lives with his foster's two older teens and gets along well with them. Teens and respectful older children would be ideal since Kusco has boundaries and doesn't like being messed around with. Small children may not pick up on cues when he's not in the mood for interaction. His foster family has thoroughly enjoyed caring for him because he's such a great all-around cat! He 'd do best in a home with a kitty friend and a family with older children who understand cat signals and respect a cat's wish for space. All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
