Dopey is a 7-year-old sweetheart with a gentle soul and a lot of love to give. I first met him through a friend who saw the instant bond we shared, and we’ve been inseparable ever since. He’s incredibly affectionate, loves to “chat” with you throughout the day, enjoys playful moments, and is happiest when he’s cuddled up beside you receiving pets. Unfortunately, I’m currently facing serious financial hardships, and my landlord has given me until the end of this month to rehome him. It breaks my heart, but I want to make sure Dopey finds a warm, patient, and loving home where he can thrive. Due to his age, he may have some underlying health issues that I haven’t been able to fully address — which is why I’m hoping his next home can provide him the care and comfort he deserves. Texas: cats over 14 weeks can travel along 1-35 or within 4 hours of San Antonio with a rescue partner with prior arrangement for a small donation. Out of state: for cats over 14 weeks old, transport is available to most of the Southern states, plus CT, NY, PA, ME, NJ, New England and a few other states for $185 per crate. If they get along and space permits, up to 2 cats or 4 kittens can share a crate, and cost may be split amongst adopters. Out of state transport must have an Interstate Health Certificate as mandated by law by a qualified veterinarian for $85 - $125 each. Ninja is patiently waiting for his new family. He was abandoned on the streets of central TX and ended up in a high kill shelter. He was saved by a kind senior lady who couldn't let him die. He really needs his own home soon.
