FIONA is a 1 year old, 10 lb Maltese FIONA's PERSONALITY: If you are reading this, I assume you are familiar with the Maltese breed. They are sweet natured lap dogs, who bond with their owner easily. Fiona is all of these ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ At RoRescue, we strive to match the dog's personality to the best possible future home. This, in no way, casts judgement on applicants. Our primary concern is the dog's future safety, health and happiness. ALL RORESCUE DOGS are vet checked, spayed/neutered, dental cleaning (if needed), microchipped and UTD on shots. We do NOT adopt to: * adopters who intend for the dog to live outside. * out-of area or out of state locations. *homes where someone smokes cigarettes, vape or smoke prescribed or non-prescribed substances inside or surrounding areas of their home.

Chesty was raised with an older couple. We believe he is anywhere between 7-10 years old. One of his owners passed away 2 years ago and now the 2nd owner sadly is having to move into a group home. Chesty is very loyal and a protective conpanion. I do believe he is slightly hearing impaired. Unfortunately, he is not well potty trained but with the right household and owner he can be. Once he gets to know you he loves to be pet but not held and carried from my observation. This too can change because he commonly sat in my mother inlaws lap but she was unable to pet him due to her many ailments. It is unfortunate we need to move quickly to place him in a loving home. We have no other options at this time :( Thank you for your consideration.
