Story
Rambo is a 4 year old, 17 pound Maltese blend who joined us recently and is now looking for his forever home.To get started in the process of meeting this dog, please visit https://azfriends.org/testing/adopt.html to complete an adoption consultation form, and then come by the Adoption Center to meet with one of our adoption counselors. No appointments are necessary and you can come and see us any time we are open. Please go to our website (www.azfriends.org) to fill out a consultation form then come and see us! We do require any family interested in meeting our dogs or cats to fill out a consultation form – this form helps us determine if the dog/cat and the home are a good match, since it is so easy to fall in love with a photo, without knowing the personality of the animal. Once you have filled out the online Adoption Consultation Form, just come in and see us (or come and see us and fill out the consultation form upon arrival)! Please note that ALL dogs and cats are available to the first home that meets the dog or cat that we feel is a good match. In order to help make the best match, we do want all family members (dogs and humans) to meet any potential new family member. Our adoption center hours are: Closed Sunday/Monday; Tuesday 10a-2p, Wednesday 3p-7p, Thursday 3p-7p, Friday 10a-2p, Saturday 10a-4p. We are located at 952 W Melody Avenue in Gilbert (zip code 85233).All animals are altered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, licensed (dogs). Cats tested for FELV/FIV. Dogs tested for Heartworm. All animals are available to the first family that is a good match, and if we have more than one animal who is a good match, there will be a lottery for all matches. Note that families must have come in to our adoption center and spoken with an adoption counselor prior to any lottery (when we have lotteries, they usually occur on Saturday mornings).

Story
Ready for Pre- Adoption Only Hi, I'm Iris, a precious 1-year-old Maltese-Poodle mix with a fluffy white coat that's as soft as it looks! I’m a little bit shy but warm up quickly. I just raised a litter of puppies but I wasn’t really wanting to do that at my age 💕 I'm small, sweet, and ready to shower my new family with all the affection and loyalty I have to give. I'm going to be spayed soon but you can come and meet me and decide if I’m your girl! If you're looking for a gentle, cuddly companion to snuggle up with, I'd love to be yours! 🐾✨

Story
Byanca is a delightful 12-year-old Maltese mix weighing just 8–9 pounds, and she has never met a stranger she didn't want to befriend! This sweet senior has quickly shown everyone that she's the life of the party.Friendly, affectionate, and incredibly easy to handle, Byanca loves meeting new people and is always ready to share kisses, cuddles, and her cheerful personality. She absolutely adores being close to her humans and would happily spend the day curled up beside you on the couch if you'll let her. Being picked up and held is one of her favorite things, making her the perfect little companion for anyone looking for a devoted lap dog.Byanca's loving nature shines through in everything she does. She thrives on attention and companionship and is happiest when she's the center of your world. Because she enjoys having her people all to herself, she would prefer to be the only dog in the home.If you're looking for a sweet, snuggly best friend who will greet everyone with a wag and a smile, Byanca may be the perfect match. She's ready to fill her forever home with love, laughter, and plenty of cuddles. To get started in the process of meeting Byanca, please visit https://azfriends.org/testing/adopt.html to complete an adoption consultation form (this can also be completed upon arrival) and then head over to the Adoption Center to meet one of our Adoption Counselors. No appointments are necessary and you can come and see us any time we are open.
