Hi . . . My name is Daisy and I am a sweet senior gal who is 10 years old.  I’m a tiny Maltese/Poodle blend girl weighing just 7 lbs. I am vision impaired, but I don’t let that stop me from exploring .  I truly appreciate my freedom, affection and care and would love to be the princess in my forever home. Favorite Things: Daisy LOVES her food and loves soaking up attention.  Toys and playing are not really her thing, but exploring her surroundings is high on her list of favorite things. She also loves being around her person and will sit next to them as much as possible (and extra close in bed at night). Training & Manners:  Daisy is working on her house training and will need to be taken outside frequently.  Due to her vision, she doesn’t do well on a leash so will need more practice with leash walking.  She has good basic manners and is highly food motivated.  She is verbal when she wants food but is otherwise quiet. Health and Care: Daisy is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. She is on daily drops for dry eyes and takes her monthly preventatives for fleas and heartworm.  She will likely require professional grooming every 6-8 weeks to keep her looking and feeling her best. Other Animals:  Daisy has experience with other small dogs and cats.  Children: This gentle, curious gal would do best in a home with respectful teens.    Ideal Home: Daisy would do well in an apartment, condo or single-family home.  Her “dream” home would be a house without steps (although she is tiny enough to carry) and no pool (for safety reasons with her vision impairment).  A fenced yard would keep her safe and give her room for her adventurous explorations. She has free rein of her foster home and can be left for several hours without issues. She sleeps in the “people bed” at night and is happy to cozy up to her person. Hi, I’m Pax. 🐾My story started with a family who loved me very much, but they realized their home and schedule weren’t the best fit for giving me the time and space I deserve. So they made the hard decision to help me find a place where I can get lots of attention, adventures, and love. I think that’s pretty brave of them—and now I’m ready to find my forever people.I’ve lived in a home with kids before and did great with them. I’ve also met cats and other dogs and passed my tests with flying colors, so I could likely share my home with some furry siblings. I’m a pretty easygoing guy overall. I ride nicely in the car and I’m okay hanging out by myself when my humans need to step out.Now, I’ll be honest about a few things I’m still working on. I’m not crate trained yet, and I’ll need some help learning my house manners and potty routines. I also get a little nervous when it’s time for nail trims or grooming, but with patience and kindness I handle it okay.One thing you should know about me—I LOVE to dig. Like, really love it. If there’s a yard, I might try to do a little landscaping… and sometimes I’m talented enough to dig my way out. So I’ll need a secure yard and a family who understands my passion for excavation. 😅My favorite things in life are simple: being close to my people, getting lots of pets, and curling up for cuddles.
