10/16/26 I was adopted last Nov, but my person passed away. It was very sad and I was alone for sometime before someone came to check. I'm back with rescue and recovering from the trauma and have pancreatitis again. I'm getting better, but I'm not quite ready for prime time. My foster wants me to be better so anyone that adopts me only has to make sure I'm eating a low fat diet. I'm very quiet and would be better suited for someone with no other, or just one other pet. I found myself out on my own until I was taken to a noisy scary place called the county shelter. I didn’t have a micro-chip and no one came to find me so I stayed in a small cage for a week until a nice person rescued me. I didn’t look too bad, but I was rushed to the vet after a few days of not eating. The vet discovered I had an infection, and pancreatitis. After some emergency treatment I went home and started on a low fat diet. I’m doing very well now. I’m a quiet little man and I have eyes that look clear into my soul. My hearing isn't very good. I do get along just fine with all my housemates so another small pup would be fine. I’m just the right age and weight for the right family.

Oliver is an 8 year old, 11 lb Maltese with a sweet, gentle personality. After spending his early years in a puppy mill, he’s shy with new people and situations, but once he feels safe, he’s a loving little companion who enjoys being close to his people. Oliver would do best in a quiet, adult-only home. He’s is warming up to men, although he tends to trust women more quickly. While Oliver is fostered with other animals, he doesn’t love sharing his humans’ attention with them, so he would be happiest as an only pet. He isn’t destructive and doesn’t need to be crated, as crates can make him feel protective. Oliver does wear a belly band indoors. If you have a calm home and the patience to let Oliver settle in at his own pace, you’ll gain a devoted little friend. Meet Elle Woods! Elle is a 2–3-year-old, 4 lb mixed-breed girl who we suspect may be a Maltese/Chihuahua mix. She came to us with a limp, and X-rays revealed an old fracture that had healed incorrectly. Unfortunately, amputation was the only option, but Elle has recovered beautifully and hasn't let it slow her down one bit! Elle is dog and cat friendly and especially enjoys playing with smaller dogs. She walks nicely on a leash and is also happy to ride along in a backpack carrier, making her a great little hiking companion! She's good in the car and is doing well with both crate and house-training, although her tiny bladder means she can't hold it for very long periods. Her ideal home would have another small, friendly dog to keep her company and give her a playmate. Elle may be tiny, but she's ready to take on the world with her forever family! Meet Barbara!! Babs is a sweet and sassy 11 yr old Maltese mix who had a family her whole life until one day they just up and abandoned her. We have no idea why but there couldn't possibly be a good enough reason to abandon sweet Babs on her own! Given Babs history of abandonment she gets very attached to her people and wants to be nearby all of the time. Because of that, she will require someone who is either retired or works remote - Babs will not be happy home alone for hours at a time. She would prefer adult human company though - no children and preferably no other dogs. Babs is house trained when kept on a schedule but will also use pee pads and is a great little leash walker!   Interested in adopting sweet Babs?
