I’ve had him since he was just 2 months old, and he has grown into a loving, adventurous, curious, playful, and independent dog.He is crate-trained, not a picky eater, and very adaptable. After his walks and meals, he usually goes into his crate on his own until it’s time to play, go for another walk, or eat againIt truly breaks my heart to have to rehome him due to ongoing changes in my schedule. Simba gets along well with both kids and adults and would make a wonderful addition to any family. He is also very protective of the people he loves

Shep is 6 years old and full of energy. He has been with me for 4 years. He loves to play fetch and tug of war with a blanket. He likes long walks and rides in the car. He sleeps quietly all night in his cage. He does not like to be around other dogs but has learned to live with a cat. He needs a new home where he gets lots of attention and can be the center of attention. He loves to play with children but probably fits best with adults.

Story
Louis is adorable, but has his quirks. While he is tolerant of others in the household, he is definitely a one-person dog. At times he can become overprotective and may growl at others who get too close to his chosen one. However, he has never bitten any other human or animal. This is an energetic dog who loves routine. Part of that routine is going on walks. He walks well on a slip-lead leash and will heel well. That is until he sees another dog or squirrel and then it is time to bark! He can be redirected by turning around and he has been to numerous training sessions to improve his socialization with other dogs. While he has historically gotten along with a few other dogs, he might do best in a one dog home or at least a home with another calm well balanced pet. Because he is so energetic, keeping up with his focused leash walks, and maintaining his training will help Louie, as well his medication routine, which can be adjusted as necessary with a vet recommendation. He has been on Vet prescribed fluoxetine, (prozac) 10mg daily, he takes easily with a morning treat. It has definitely helped, but it is not a magic pill. Louie is cuddly and makes a great lap dog with his favorite human. He likes to be petted, but not on his head. He will growl if petting time is over and will usually jump down to lie on his bed in his crate for a nap. Louie would make a fantastic pet for someone experienced with an energetic pet like Louie, who has a fenced-in yard for him to run and play fetch. Louie is neutered, weighs 10#, is vaccinated, microchipped and current on heartworm and flea medications. His adoption fee is $400.

Ellie is 4-5 years old, I adopted her about 2 1/2 years ago from a couple that raised her in a cat taxi until I got her. So, she is great with open fenced or soft sided enclosures but panics if you attempt to place her in taxis. She is loving, sits next to my daughter most days. She loves her treats and have been working on the weight but I think mostly she is typical of the breed a couch potato. She does not like brushing, nails or fused. Gentle groomer. Bath wkly. Very short slow walks. Stress brings on one of the braco breeds, snorts catching her breath and just needs to be talked to softly to calm if tense head straight up I lightly bring her head down. She will come with her stuffed animals she knows as her babies and likes to lay on them if she feels insecure. Rabies tag/UTD vaccines, comes with monthly heartworm parasite prevention and 3 months flea tick etc pills. I am moving and does not allow dogs. She doesn't like to ride. My babies are my kids, this hurts. Pee pads indoors.
