Story
Crouton/aka Louis is adorable, but has his quirks. While he is tolerant of others in the household, he is definitely a one-person dog. At times he can become overprotective and may growl at others who get too close to his chosen one. However, he has never bitten any other human or animal. This is an energetic dog who loves routine. Part of that routine is going on walks. He walks well on a slip-lead leash and will heel well. That is until he sees another dog or squirrel and then it is time to bark! He can be redirected by turning around and he has been to numerous training sessions to improve his socialization with other dogs. While he has historically gotten along with a few other dogs, he might do best in a one dog home or at least a home with another calm well balanced pet. Because he is so energetic, keeping up with his focused leash walks, and maintaining his training will help Crouton, as well his medication routine, which can be adjusted as necessary with a vet recommendation. He has been on Vet prescribed fluoxetine, (prozac) 10mg daily, he takes easily with a morning treat. It has definitely helped, but it is not a magic pill. Crouton is cuddly and makes a great lap dog with his favorite human. He likes to be petted, but not on his head. He will growl if petting time is over and will usually jump down to lie on his bed in his crate for a nap. Crouton would make a fantastic pet for someone experienced with an energetic pet, who has a fenced-in yard for him to run and play fetch. Crouton is neutered, weighs 10#, is vaccinated, microchipped and current on heartworm and flea medications. His adoption fee is $400.

I took this pet in because the person who had them moved can not have pets new place i took them in because they said they will get them back couple weeks to take to her mom place but she said no so now I stuck with them I have cancer so I cant 100 % take care of them I have two big bags food treats dog bed and other stuff for them free just need them gone asap because I dont have yard for them and they have good with older kids
