Maltese Marshall was relinquished by no fault of his own. This is a nice boy who is good with other dogs & with people. He is very sweet but would benefit from some basic obedience and confidence building. His birth date is 05/25/24 and he currently weighs 6# full grown. He will not be placed with small children due to his small size. He has been vet. checked, neutered, micro chipped, is up to date on routine shots & wormings including rabies, and has been treated with flea & heart worm preventative per our protocol. He is also heartworm and tick born illness negative. He also had a dental cleaning. His adoption donation is $750 and needs to be cash, certified check, money order or a debit/credit card. There is a 3% processing fee when using a debit/credit card. Please note that any additional funding collected for this pet goes back into our medical acct. to provide for other dogs in need. This girl can become terrified if things get too overwhelming for her. Story
Bentley is a sensitive but sweet boy who is making great strides in his foster home. Once you earn his trust, he becomes a sweet shadow that loves to always be next to you. He loves sitting on your lap and chewing his bone on your foot. He loves the snow and being chased by the pack when he’s playful. His foster mom said it took about 3 to 4 days for him to feel safe and to be able to be introduced fully to the other dogs in the house. When he’s scared, he gets reactive. So he will need some time and patience when he settles into a new home. He does react when you try to take things from him that he shouldn’t have. But, he is very treat motivated, so simply shaking a bag of treats will get his attention to give up what he has that he shouldn't. He loves to play with toys and with other dogs, once he gets comfortable with them. He does bark at sounds and at the neighbor dogs through the fence. He was reactive to sounds when he first got to his foster home and ran to the door and nervously barked every time he heard a sound, but he has since stopped that since he feels safe. He just needs a little patience to feel comfortable. Bentely is fully potty trained and he will go sit and jump at the door when he has to go out. Bentley is ready to find his forever home! ##2621375##
