Marcie is calm and lower energy, but perks right up when her people come through the door! She also loves playing outside in the snow!Marcie was surrendered to us after her person passed away. She favors women over men, but won’t pass up a treat from anyone! Marcie is fostered in a home with two children and she absolutely loves them. She is also fond of other dogs and pays no mind to the resident cat. She is mostly potty trained, but will take a few days to get used to a new routine. She does well on a leash and recalls well when called. She could afford to lose a bit of weight, but proper portions for feeding will take care of that in no time. Even though Marcie is 8, she still has a lot of life left in her and a lot of love to give. In all, she is a mellow dog who’d fit well in most environments. I will quietly play in a large pen until she’s ready to take me outside. My favorite things are squeaky stuffy toys, long naps, and snuggling on the couch while the games are on. I’m a good eater too. I’m still learning where to potty, but I keep my cozy crate clean, and sleep silently through the whole night.   I haven’t yet met cats or kids. I recently learned to trust people, so a home with young kids might be too scary for me. I need to be secured outside, so a fenced yard is important. I would love a dog sibling to teach me the best ways to get treats and belly rubs.
