QUICK FACTS Name: Cheonjin Age: About 3 Years Old Gender: Male (Neutered) Breed: Maltipoo Color: White Weight: 9kg / 19.8lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I was rescued from a city shelter after being placed on the euthanasia list. Thankfully, rescuers stepped in and brought me to safety, giving me a second chance and the opportunity to begin again. Now, I’m looking forward to a brighter chapter filled with love, companionship, and a forever family of my own.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Neutered & healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY Hi, I’m Cheonjin! I’m an irresistibly cute little dog with a wonderfully chunky build, a big face, oversized paws, and surprisingly short legs. Put it all together and I have the kind of proportions that make people stop and smile. I’m currently sporting a shorter haircut, but my coat looks like it will grow in much fuller and fluffier—I’m going to become even more handsome once it does. My personality is every bit as lovable as my appearance. I’m sweet and affectionate with people, friendly with other dogs, and naturally easygoing. I enjoy affection and have plenty of charm, but my overall energy is comfortable and well-balanced. I’m the kind of dog my rescuers describe as genuinely easy to care for: gentle, stable, adaptable, and happy to go along with everyday life. There is one thing about me that definitely isn’t small: my voice! I’m a bit of a talker, and thanks to my broad chest, I can produce a surprisingly impressive bark for my compact body. If the other dogs start barking, I may join the conversation. If I spot something interesting outside, I may announce it. And if there’s something I particularly want, I’m not above using my voice to make my opinion known. The funny part is that I usually have a lot to say—but not necessarily for very long. Rather than barking endlessly, I’m more likely to deliver a decisive little announcement and then move on with my day. I have the big paws, short legs, fluffy potential, affectionate personality, and booming little voice to make me memorable—but underneath all that cuteness is simply a very good-natured, easygoing dog. I’d love a family who appreciates a companion with a little personality and a lot of sweetness, because I’m more than ready to bring both into my forever home.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I’m naturally friendly and affectionate with people, and I’m happy to approach both familiar faces and new people for attention. I enjoy leaning in for affection and am comfortable being petted—even with someone I’ve just met, I may happily roll over and show my belly! I’m also comfortable being gently picked up with an arm supporting me under my belly. I haven’t had experience with children under 13 yet, so my comfort level with younger kids is still unknown. · With Dogs: I’m friendly and social with other dogs, and I enjoy approaching both familiar and new dogs to say hello and invite them to play. I tend to be easygoing in my interactions, and if another dog tries to provoke me, I usually choose to move away and avoid conflict. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have a moderate energy level – I enjoy spending time outdoors, but I’m also happy to settle down and relax afterward. I have plenty of walking experience and good leash manners, following my person well without pulling.   TRAINING & HABITS I don’t guard my food around people or other dogs I’m calm and settled when I’m in a kennel. I may bark when I see someone unfamiliar or use a little demand barking when there’s something I want, but with consistent guidance and positive training, I can continue learning calmer ways to communicate and respond to new people. I’m comfortable using both indoor pee pads and going potty outdoors. When I first arrive in a new environment, I may mark as I get familiar with my surroundings, but with time, a consistent routine, and regular potty breaks, I can become more comfortable and settled in my new space.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together A family that will love and cherish me forever   SPECIAL NOTES When I first arrive in a new environment, I may mark as I get familiar with my surroundings. With time, a consistent routine, and regular potty breaks, I can become more comfortable and settled in my new space.    CHEONJIN'S YOUTUBE PLAYLIST   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.com ##2838977##

Story
QUICK FACTS Name: Kkaedol Age: 8 years old Gender: Male (Neutered) Breed: Maltese Color: White Weight: 3 kg / 6.6 lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I once had a forever home and a caretaker who loved and cared for me. Unfortunately, my caretaker’s health suddenly declined, and they could no longer give me the care and attention I deserved. Wanting the best for me, the difficult decision was made to find me a new loving home. Although saying goodbye to the life I knew wasn’t easy, I’m ready to begin a new chapter. I already know how wonderful it feels to be part of a family, and now I’m hoping to find another special person who will welcome me into their heart and give me a safe, loving home for the rest of my life.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Healthy with no known health issues I have a slightly longer tongue, so you may catch it adorably peeking out from time to time! It doesn’t cause me any discomfort or affect my daily life in any way. It’s simply one of my cute little features that makes me uniquely me.   MY PERSONALITY My previous family loved me and truly wanted the best for me. Unfortunately, when my caretaker’s health significantly declined, they had to make the difficult decision to find me a new home where I could continue receiving all the love and care I deserve. Having my whole world suddenly change has been a big adjustment, but I’m handling it beautifully. I’m a healthy, affectionate boy who absolutely loves people, and even in a completely new environment, I happily follow everyone around looking for pets, attention, and companionship. During my profile photoshoot, I even kept climbing onto one of the staff members’ backs because apparently I decided I deserved a piggyback ride! I may be starting over, but my loving and trusting personality hasn’t changed. I already know what it means to be part of a family, and I’m ready to find someone special to share that love with again.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I’m super friendly with people and love greeting everyone I meet! I happily soak up pets, affection, and attention and am always excited to make a new human friend. I’m comfortable being picked up and held, and once I feel at ease with you, I’ll even roll over and show you my belly for some extra love and belly rubs. · With Dogs: I enjoy greeting new dogs and making friends, but I’m definitely more of a people’s pup at heart! I prefer to take my time rather than jumping straight into play and am perfectly happy doing my own thing. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown. A cat test can be arranged upon request to ensure the best fit.   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have a moderate energy level. I enjoy spending time outdoors, exploring, and having fun, but once I’ve had my activity and excitement, I’m more than happy to come inside and relax comfortably indoors.   TRAINING & HABITS I walk well on leash and follow my handler’s lead nicely, making me an enjoyable walking companion. I also have great manners around food and don’t guard my meals or treats from either people or other dogs. I don’t currently show signs of separation anxiety, but because I’m such a people oriented boy who forms strong bonds, I may become deeply attached to my forever family. Continuing to encourage healthy independence from the beginning will help me feel secure and confident even when my favourite people aren’t right beside me. I’m also a quiet boy who rarely barks and already know how to settle and rest calmly in my kennel. Despite all the recent changes in my life, I’m adjusting beautifully and showing everyone what a sweet and adaptable companion I can be.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: • A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment • A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout • A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together • A family that will love and cherish me forever   SPECIAL NOTES I’m an incredibly sweet and affectionate boy who simply loves being around people. Even though my whole world has recently changed, I’ve handled everything with such a gentle and trusting heart. I happily follow people around, seek out pets and affection, and just want to be included in whatever my humans are doing. During my profile photoshoot, I even kept climbing onto a staff member’s back for a piggyback ride! I already have so many wonderful qualities for home life. I walk nicely on leash, rarely bark, settle calmly in my kennel, and have excellent manners around food. Most importantly, I already know what it means to love and be loved by a family. My previous family wanted the very best for me, and now the volunteers and staff want the same. They’re especially hopeful that I’ll find a loving home where I can spend my senior years surrounded by comfort, companionship, and all the affection I deserve. I may be an older gentleman, but I still have so much love to give and so many happy memories left to make with my new family.   KKAEDOL'S YOUTUBE PLAYLIST   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.com ##2828490##

Story
QUICK FACTS Name: Gippeum Age: About 4 Years Old Gender: Female (Spayed) Breed: Jindo – Maltese Mix Color: White and Brown Weight: 5kg / 11lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I was rescued from a city shelter after being placed on the euthanasia list. Thankfully, rescuers stepped in just in time and gave me a second chance to move forward in safety and care. Now, I’m looking ahead to a brighter future and hoping to begin my next chapter with a loving forever family.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Spayed & healthy with no known health issues Patellar luxation surgery completed on both legs   MY PERSONALITY Hi, I’m Gippeum! I’m a very petite Jindo mix with a little bit of a Maltese-like look and personality that makes me especially charming. When I first arrive somewhere unfamiliar, I can be timid and may try to hide while I figure out what’s going on. Thankfully, my cautious phase usually doesn’t last very long. Once I realize the people around me are safe, I warm up quickly and genuinely enjoy being around them. I have a funny little brave act that sometimes comes out when I’m nervous. I might bark and try my best to look tough, but underneath that performance, I’m actually a sensitive, slightly fearful softie. If someone needs to pick me up, my tough-girl act quickly disappears—I give in and let myself be held without much fuss. Because I’m naturally such a gentle dog, getting to know me and building a relationship with me isn’t particularly difficult. I’d be happiest with a family who can understand that my occasional big voice doesn’t necessarily mean I’m feeling as brave as I sound. Give me a little reassurance when the world feels unfamiliar, and you’ll discover a tiny, gentle companion who warms up quickly and enjoys being close to her people. A compatible friend could be a wonderful source of confidence for me, but most importantly, I’m looking for people who will appreciate both sides of me—the little girl who occasionally pretends to be tough and the sweet softie hiding underneath.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I can be a little shy when meeting someone new, especially in an unfamiliar environment. I’ll happily accept treats, but I prefer to take a little more time getting to know you before I’m comfortable being petted. Once I feel more at ease, I’m also comfortable being gently picked up with an arm supporting me under my belly. · With Dogs: I’m friendly and social with other dogs, and I enjoy approaching both familiar and new dogs to say hello and invite them to play. I generally do well with dogs around my own size and tend to feel more secure when I have another dog nearby. I naturally look to other dogs for reassurance, and having a companion around can help me feel more comfortable and settled. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have a moderate energy level – I enjoy spending time outdoors, but I’m also happy to settle down and relax afterward. I have experience with walks and generally follow my person well. I may pull on the leash at times, but overall, I’m responsive to guidance and comfortable walking alongside my person.   TRAINING & HABITS I don’t guard my food around people or other dogs I’m calm and settled when I’m in a kennel. When there’s something I really want, I may use a little demand barking to let you know. I’m accustomed to doing my business outdoors and generally prefer outdoor potty breaks.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together A family that will love and cherish me forever   SPECIAL NOTES Having another dog around can help me feel more secure. A friend gives me reassurance, especially when I’m adjusting to something unfamiliar. With a little time, positive experiences, and the comfort of knowing I’m safe, I’m able to let my sweeter, more social side come forward.    GIPPEUM'S YOUTUBE PLAYLIST   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.com ##2820940##
