Story
Meet Leia! We don't know much about early in her life, but her previous owners moved to housing that did not allow them to take her along. They thought that Leia may have been used for breeding before they got her, but she is fixed now and ready to be part of your family. Leia, although vocal, is very friendly with people and does well with gentle children. Her estimated birthdate is in 2016, but she is still a lively dog. She is being monitored for a heart murmur, but currently does not require medication to treat it. We have not seen her interact with cats, but she may enjoy having a small canine friend. Leia needs a securely fenced yard with no gaps 4" or larger for her safety. Visit our website to fill out an Adoption Application http://www.wagsequimwa.com If you have any questions, please email: office@wagsequimwa.com. Most of our dogs require a fully fenced yard, this does depend on the individual dogs needs and safety requirements. Adoption donation fee up to $350 (Please understand this adoption donation goes towards helping all the dogs we rescue) July 4, 2026, 4:43 pm

Click the button to download the adoption application. The application is a form-fillable pdf. Fill out the form, save it to your hard drive, then email back to sian@gingerspetrescue.org Meet Puffy Puffy is a 9-year-old Maltese boy, weighing about 7 lbs, with a soft white coat and gentle eyes that reflect both his resilience and his quiet hope for a loving home. He was rescued from an illegal breeding facility in South Korea, where dogs are kept for production rather than loved as companions — but Puffy is finally safe and ready to begin a brighter chapter. Puffy is deaf, so he will need a patient, understanding home that can help him feel secure using gentle touch, visual cues, and a calm routine. Deaf dogs can live beautiful, happy lives, and Puffy simply needs someone willing to communicate with him in a kind and reassuring way. Puffy also has only 2 teeth, so he may need softer food and continued dental care to keep him comfortable and healthy. Despite everything he has been through, Puffy is still so deserving of love, comfort, and a family who will see just how special he is. At 9 years old, Puffy is a precious senior boy who deserves peace, warmth, cozy naps, soft beds, and the chance to finally know what it feels like to be truly cherished. ✨ Puffy is looking for a forever home where he can continue to grow in confidence and finally experience the warmth of a real home. One loving family can change the rest of his life. Adoption Information Puffy’s adoption fee is a non-refundable donation of $1,695 that helps support ongoing rescue efforts and save more dogs in need. It includes: • Neuter • Vaccinations • Microchip • Boarding and daily care • Health certificate • Transport from South Korea to Seattle ✈️ A GPS tracker or Apple AirTag is required for all adopted dogs — you may bring your own or purchase one from us. Please note: Breed, age, and weight are best estimates and cannot be guaranteed. Ginger’s Pet Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Every adoption opens the door for another life to be saved. Thank you for choosing rescue and giving Puffy the loving future he’s been waiting for.July 2, 2026, 4:32 pm

Story
Click the button to download the adoption application. The application is a form-fillable pdf. Fill out the form, save it to your hard drive, then email back to sian@gingerspetrescue.org Hi, my name is Sugar and I am a wonderful 7  year-old female Maltese, weighing in at approximately 8  lbs.    I was rescued from an illegal breeding facility in Korea, where dogs like me endure unimaginable cruelty and hardship. Thankfully, compassionate rescuers saved me and gave me the chance to experience something I’d never known before, hope.  I’m a gentle and affectionate companion who loves being around people, including kind children. I get along well with other dogs and would enjoy a family who can shower me with attention and affection.  I’d do best in a home with a family who understands that rescued dogs need patience and time to adjust.    We recommend working with our skilled pet rescue trainer. My adoption fee of  $1,495 (tax-deductible and essential for supporting future rescues) c  overs Spay/Neuter.    DA2PP, Rabies, and Bordetella vaccinations,  Deworming and Heartworm testing,  Microchipping,  Boarding fees, health certificate, and airline transport from Korea to Seattle.    For safety, all adopted dogs must have a GPS tracker or Apple AirTag. You can bring your own or purchase one from us.    Your support allows Ginger’s Pet Rescue, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, to continue its lifesaving work and provide critical medical care for animals in  need.    Email  admin@gingerspetrescue.org  to request an adoption application or to learn more about me. Donations to help with vet bills at Greenwood Vet are always appreciated—they make rescues like mine possible.     March 7, 2026, 8:59 pm

Story
Meet Jasper and Chloe! This sweet pair of seniors are in a long-term relationship, and we cannot separate them after 45+ dog years together. They are in need of a home that can open their hearts to both easy-going dogs. Jasper, a Shih Tzu born in August 2011, is ready to go with the flow. Need someone to lend an ear (despite not being able to hear that well) or just be a calming presence? Jasper is your guy! Chloe, a Bichon Frise mix born in September 2014, is quite the friendly gal. She is missing some teeth, leaving her tongue hanging out of her mouth in an adorable fashion. She is scheduled for a double knee replacement, and will need a home that can help her recover. Jasper and Chloe are great little dogs who would love to join your home! Visit our website to fill out an Adoption Application http://www.wagsequimwa.com If you have any questions, please email: office@wagsequimwa.com. Most of our dogs require a fully fenced yard, this does depend on the individual dogs needs and safety requirements.
