Story
Meet Gordo, an adorable 6-month-old Havanese mix weighing about 10 pounds and ready for “big kid” puppy school! This high-energy little guy brings the zoomies daily and is as loving and attentive as he is cute. Gordo is crate trained and sleeps through the night in a covered wire crate, though he’d happily trade it for snuggles in bed with his humans. He’s 98% potty trained and uses a doggy door in his foster home, but like any pup, he’ll need a little guidance when adjusting to a new environment. When new people or dogs enter the home, Gordo may bark briefly, but he responds well to being redirected to his “place,” especially when a tasty treat is involved. He already knows how to sit and is eager to keep learning. Gordo enjoys leash walks and car rides, and he would thrive in a home committed to enrolling him in a puppy training class to help polish his manners and build confidence through socialization. A perfect Puppy Project! If you’re looking for a playful, affectionate companion who’s off to a great start, Gordo might be your perfect match

Jim the cutest little talking bundle of fluff & love was rescued by a rescuer from a slaughterhouse along with countless other dogs. Unfortunately this rescuer got in over their heads & abandoned all the dogs including Jim in a warehouse type of situation with no water, no food, no bedding no nothing. Jim along with all the other dogs had to fend for themselves. Our amazing rescuer has been going in & feeding who is left while they continue to rescue as many as they possibly can but of course they are full too. When they seen Jim in there he was talking to them begging for help to take him. Now Jim is looking for a special family to cherish him & be patient with him & remember what this beautiful soul has been through & a family that meets all his needs. Jim was rescued by our truly amazing Chinese rescue friends & just as always we are beyond grateful to the Chinese rescue who we are so extremely thankful for what they do day in & day out for these babies, we cannot thank them enough. Jim is a gentle soul & his beautiful personality has flourish. He is a very gentle patient little soul. He just wants you to love him & he will love you back. When he looks at you, he has a crooked smile. His foster mum said he looks like a little ewok & loves his uniqueness. His foster mum taught him a way to come with moving her hands together & he now runs up to her for her to pick him up & cuddle him. He loves it when she cuddles him & snuggles into him & kisses him. When he finds people who love him they become his world. He is a very soft gentle soul & timid until he knows you. He is smart though & can run up & down hardwood stairs. He will also want to cuddle in bed with you. After his foster mum picking him up & putting him on the bed he now runs & jumps on the bed & knows when it is time to go to bed. He is a very bouncy playful boy. He loves to run & play with his foster siblings & must go to a home with a young dog who will play with him when he is ready. He will run & run & chase his foster siblings in big spaces. He loves a good outfit & will get ready for you to put one on him. Jim eats a clean diet, meaning raw fruits, raw vegetables, 70 % raw proteins, grains, fats & supplements. He also enjoys collagen sticks & bully sticks. All of his treats are homemade. He also ate a clean diet as soon as he went into his foster home in China. Jim has been taught to walk on harness & leash & has been doing wonderful. Jim is a rescue & will need patience, time & understanding. Jim adores being pampered & doesn’t want you to stop when brushing him, cleaning his eyes, grooming him, baths, the hairdryer he loves it all. He also does extremely well being touched in general & adores receiving love. Having toys & a warm bed was all new to Jim until he was moved to a very devoted foster home in China. He now enjoys his toys in his foster home. Jim has learnt to ride in the car & does well in the car & enjoys a good car ride. He is such an amazing, loving little lad. With Jim we are only looking for a crate free home for this lovely little lad only. Please do not apply with the intent to crate this boy. He does not like crates especially after everything he has been through. We are also looking for a forever home for Jim where someone is home during the day or Jim can go with his people wherever possibly he can go with them. Jim is looking for a forever home who will cherish him & love him as he should be loved & be very patient with him & understanding. Jim has been around many breeds of dogs all shapes & sizes & he is currently with other dogs & enjoys their company in his loving foster home. He had been around several hundred dogs. He can be found at times snuggled up to his foster siblings. A fully fenced backyard is mandatory for Jim new forever home if it’s a free standing home. Jim is now roughly 12lbs & 1 year & 9 months old & possibly a maltese shi tzu mix & what he is mixed with we are not sure? He is microchipped, had a dental in China. He is up to date on his shots including DHLPP, rabies & dewormed. Once these shots expire we will not redo them except rabies as we will not over vaccinate our beloved dogs. We have spent over $2000 on Jim with bringing him to the US with his travel airfare paying for his medical care, including, shots, neuter microchip etc, than his adoption fee comes close to covering. Jim has not been around cats since being in the rescue but it’s always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals. We have not had Jim with small children so we do not recommend children, but it’s always up to the family to be responsible with their children & animals. We were not there when Jim was conceived so we do not know who his parents were & it’s always up to the new potential family to look at the pictures & decide what they think his breed is. As with all of our rescues & Jim’s friends he will need work on potty training & training, so this should be something the new family would be willing to work on & commit to. Please do not submit an application if you are not willing to commit to one of our rescues care for their whole life & that includes if they need training. Please do not email us asking is Jim potty trained or available, nor do we ship dogs anywhere as we will not respond. We would never say anyone of our rescues are potty trained. Our rescues need homes where the people are understanding of their past & what they have been through & what they will need in their daily lives & not willing to give up on them & if they do need training in their new home will in fact take them to training & not just say they will when applying. Please only submit an application if you are truly interested in adopting Jim & going through our process and have read his listing fully to the end & are wanting to adopt. If you are not responsive to our calls, emails or your references do not respond we will move on & remove your application from our system. You must be willing to go through our screening process which includes your references being checked, a phone interview & a virtual home visit using Zoom followed by a meet and greet & if it’s a good fit, up to our discretion. We will only be accepting applications for Jim who understands his needs & that meet all the requirements for this lovely sweet boy. Once we find the right home for each little soul we work fast, within days so the dogs can go to their forever homes in quite a timely manner. We do not hold onto dogs for people as our goal is to save lives & please do not submit an application if you are not ready to adopt. Jim has an adoption fee of $895 & is ready for his truly loving forever home & compassion & understanding of what he has been through.

Story
Salon is a 7 year old Maltese sweetie. She’s a quirky little thing. When she first sees her humans after a separation (be it kiddos going to school or someone hanging out in their room for an hour) she does a body wiggle and opens her mouth while shaking her head. It looks super goofy but you can tell she’s SMILING. Hugely. Her tail wraps up twirly like a piglet. She loves to be underfoot, has figured out the dog door, but is learning about potty traineing. She barks when she’s been hanging out with someone and they go behind a door or gate. If she can follow she’s happy to be Velcro. There are zero signs of aggression, and she is not territorial. She is more curious and gentle. She’s great with little kids and cats (no chasing or barking) and other dogs. Green light! She may have problems with her teeth. She sleeps in a little bed in the living room. She would prefer to be with a human, but she manages to stay quiet 11-8 at least. She will pee when watching other dogs pee and smelling it, and she is willing to walk on grass and in rain. She is working on the idea of pooping outside. She does pee inside but with need more help doing everything perfectly. She’s really quite silly and charming. She is ood with other dogs, children, cats, and cars. She’s a real cutie pie. -----

A Quick but Important Note to All Adopters:
Please remember that none of our dogs arrive fully trained. Most come from tough or uncertain beginnings and may have never lived in a home or known basic routines. That means:

✧ They are not potty trained on arrival. Most dogs regress in potty training when moving to a new environment.

✧ They may lack basic manners (like leash walking or appropriate chewing).

✧ They’re learning, growing, and doing their best—but they will need patience, structure, and compassion to succeed.

The majority of these pups have lived in the confinement of a cage or kennel run for most - if not all - of their lives. Because of this, we strongly discourage the use of crates for anything other than vehicle transport. They deserve the chance to decompress and learn what true freedom and comfort feel like.

Our amazing foster homes work hard to start these dogs on the right path, but they are rescues, not finished products. These dogs need time, consistency, and a loving home willing to meet them where they are.

Also, breed designations are our best guesses based on appearance and behavior. We can't guarantee breed, size, adult weight, or coat type.

Story
Big Hair is a little 6 year old Maltese girl and she is the definition of sweetness wrapped in a cloud of fluff. She absolutely adores snuggling up close, whether it’s on your lap, by your side, or tucked in with the kids for story time. Gentle, affectionate, and full of love, she gets along beautifully with children and other dogs, making her a perfect family companion. Her calm, cuddly nature is balanced by a playful sparkle that brings joy to everyone she meets, a tiny pup with a huge heart 💕. She sleeps on a blanket on the floor in the bedroom. She is very good about whining to go out when she needs to go! She’s still getting used to trusting humans. She can be hard to pick up because she’s hesitant to trust, but every day she is getting more comfortable with the idea as she is learning that it means snuggles for her. She also is starting to learn her name, which is helpful. She is comfortable riding in the car. -----

Story
Aquanaut 7 year old Maltese. She is sweet, curious, quiet, and very gentle. She loves attention, and is making progress with potty training. She is also learning to walk on a leash and doing well. She’s a lovely little companion with a soft personality. Her favorite snack is pig ears! She sleeps in her dog bed on the floor next to her people bed. She sleeps well overall and, if she wakes and stirs occasionally, she settles back down easily with gentle reassurance. She is working on potty training outside and is making great progress! She is good with other dogs and with children, and she rides well in a car. -----

Story
If you believe the very best dogs are the gentle, quiet ones who simply want to love and be loved, then Mochi may be the perfect little companion you’ve been waiting for. Mochi is a 10-year-old Maltese Poodle mix with the softest soul and the sweetest presence. He’s the kind of dog who doesn’t need a lot to be happy—just a cozy blanket, a peaceful place to relax, and a person nearby to share quiet moments with. Watch his YouTube video now https://youtu.be/2DpAILNVOIg?si=cz5ctrKZCZ4Zp_nN Mochi is an extremely gentle and sweet boy. His whole personality is calm, soft, and easygoing. He moves through life at a relaxed pace, enjoying the simple things that make each day comfortable and peaceful. While younger dogs might be racing around the house, Mochi is perfectly content to find a soft spot, curl up into the coziest little ball, and watch the world go by. One of Mochi’s favorite things in the whole world is being outside. There is something about the sunshine and the fresh air that makes him especially happy. He loves to wander out into the grass, roll around a little, and soak in the peaceful feeling of being surrounded by nature. Sometimes he’ll simply sit or lay in the sun like a tiny fluffy cloud, enjoying the warmth and the quiet moment. Watching him enjoy these little outdoor breaks is incredibly sweet and calming. Inside the home, Mochi is a true professional when it comes to being cozy. Give him a comfy blanket and he will happily curl up into the cutest little ball imaginable. He loves to sleep near his people, tucked into a soft spot where he feels safe and relaxed. There’s something so comforting about having a little dog like Mochi nearby, quietly snoozing and keeping you company. Mochi is currently living in a foster home with two large dogs, and he does wonderfully with them. He’s not particularly interested in playing with them, but he coexists with them beautifully. He’s polite, peaceful, and happy simply sharing the space. He’s the kind of dog who doesn’t create drama—he just quietly fits into the home and brings a calm, gentle energy wherever he goes. His foster family describes him as an incredibly good boy. He’s easy to have around, sweet with everyone he meets, and appreciative of every bit of kindness he receives. Mochi has that special quality that older dogs often have—the ability to make a house feel more peaceful just by being there. Because of his calm nature, Mochi would likely do wonderfully in a home where he can continue to enjoy a relaxed lifestyle. A soft bed, cozy blankets, a sunny yard or patch of grass, and a loving human nearby would make his days complete. He doesn’t need big adventures or constant activity—he simply wants a safe, comfortable home where he can enjoy life at his own gentle pace. Mochi is the kind of dog who reminds you how special the quiet moments can be. The soft sound of him breathing while he naps nearby, the way he curls up into his blanket like a tiny fluffy donut, or the way he slowly waddles out into the grass to enjoy the sunshine—these little things make life with him incredibly sweet. If you’re looking for a loving companion who will bring warmth, calm, and quiet joy into your home, Mochi might just be your perfect match. All he wants is a soft place to rest, a little sunshine, and a family to love—and he will give that love right back every single day. Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life?
