🏠 Currently in a Toronto foster home Hi, I'm Don-i. 🤍 I may only weigh 3.5 kg, but my heart is full of love just waiting for my forever family. When you hold me, you'll notice how tiny I am. I fit perfectly in your arms, and honestly… that's one of my favorite places to be. I love being close to my people, and every gentle touch makes me feel safe. Before I was rescued, I lived in a breeding facility. I never had the chance to experience what it means to be a cherished family member. Everything is still new to me, but one thing comes naturally—I love people. When you give me attention, I'll shyly wag my tail and quietly ask for more cuddles. I'm a gentle, calm little boy who gets along well with other dogs. If you already have a furry friend, I'd be happy to be their companion. But I'd also love being your one and only, soaking up all the love you've been saving for me. I'm still learning about life in a home, so I'll need some patience with potty training and leash walking. Since I've never had the chance to learn these things before, I hope you'll teach me one step at a time. I promise I'll do my best because I trust people and truly want to make you proud. I've spent my whole life being small and vulnerable, but I dream of a future where I never have to worry again—a home where I'm loved, protected, and treated like family. Meet Leia! We don't know much about early in her life, but her previous owners moved to housing that did not allow them to take her along. They thought that Leia may have been used for breeding before they got her, but she is fixed now and ready to be part of your family. Leia, although vocal, is very friendly with people and does well with gentle children. Her estimated birthdate is in 2016, but she is still a lively dog. She is being monitored for a heart murmur, but currently does not require medication to treat it. We have not seen her interact with cats, but she may enjoy having a small canine friend. Leia needs a securely fenced yard with no gaps 4" or larger for her safety. He was rescued from an illegal breeding facility in South Korea, where dogs are kept for production rather than loved as companions — but Puffy is finally safe and ready to begin a brighter chapter. Puffy is deaf, so he will need a patient, understanding home that can help him feel secure using gentle touch, visual cues, and a calm routine. Deaf dogs can live beautiful, happy lives, and Puffy simply needs someone willing to communicate with him in a kind and reassuring way. Puffy also has only 2 teeth, so he may need softer food and continued dental care to keep him comfortable and healthy.
