Click the button to download the adoption application. The application is a form-fillable pdf. Fill out the form, save it to your hard drive, then email back to sian@gingerspetrescue.org Hi! My name is Peanut, and I came all the way from Korea in hopes of finding my forever home. I am a 3-year-old Maltese boy and weigh about 8 lbs — small, sweet, and full of charm. (My age and weight are estimated.) I was rescued from an illegal breeding facility in South Korea, and now I’m waiting for my chance to travel to Seattle. To make this possible, I need a foster home to welcome me when I arrive. Once I’m here, I’ll also be looking for my forever adoptive home filled with love and care. So far, I have not shown any issues with other dogs, children, or people — but every dog may respond differently when settling into a new home. My adoption fee of $1,695 is a donation that is non-refundable and helps save the lives of other dogs in need. It covers my neuter, vaccinations, microchip, boarding fees, health certificate, and transport costs from Korea to Seattle. A GPS tracker or Apple AirTag is required for all adopted dogs — you can bring your own or purchase one from us. We do not guarantee the breed or age of our dogs. Ginger’s Pet Rescue is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization, and all adoption fees are donations that help more dogs get their second chance. If you think you can open your heart to a very special boy like me, please fill out an adoption or foster application on my page at www.gingerspetrescue.org .July 24, 2026, 8:27 pm

Meet Panda! Little Panda is around 4 years old and came to us with his friend Alexander. They did not come from a loving home but they are adjusting well in their foster homes.  Panda is a friendly boy. He loves people, loves attention and is very affectionate. He gets along well with other dogs but has not met a cat. We think he will be fine with kids too (over 8 is great). Panda is an energetic boy who loves his walks. He is not a couch potato though he can relax alongside you just fine. He does not like to be alone - which is not uncommon for rescue dogs. They are a bit unsettled and that can cause some attachment to humans he likes. He can learn to spend time alone here and there. He can bark at times and for this reason is not suitable for apartment living. He is working on potty training - he did not learn this in his previous home - and his foster mom is working hard to help him understand. He is catching on an doing well.  Panda is scheduled to be vaccinated, neutered and chipped. His adoption fee is $450 We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.  Thank you for stepping up to save a life! To expedite to meet with this dog, please go to our site at www.savinggreatanimals.org and fill out an application. We look at the first applications to arrive, so we hope to hear from you soon! Story
Meet Dobs! Our little friend Dobs was rescued from an overcrowded shelter where he was listed to be euthanized for space. We're so glad to have him with us and doing well in his foster home. Dobs is a friendly, happy, easy going guy. His favorite thing is to be with a person. He loves cuddling and getting pets. He enjoys short, leisurely walks. He sleeps quietly in his crate at night but would much prefer to sleep in bed with his person. He’s a good eater and loves treats. While he generally gets along with other dogs he seems to prefer the company of people and can get snarky if he thinks another dog might get his food. He is very affectionate, is fine being left home alone and super happy to greet his people when they come home, gives kisses and can be a little mouthy when he’s seeking attention. He is house trained, takes care of business when he’s taken outside. He is generally very quiet but will give an alert bark when someone is at the door. He’s an overall sweet, loving dog that just wants to find his forever home. Dobs is vaccinated, neutered and microchipped. His adoption fee is $395 We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.  Thank you for stepping up to save a life!
