my Maltipoo Male Cream 10 years old 12 lbs Meet Sammy, a spunky, resilient, and affectionate little dog looking for an experienced, patient forever home. Sammy’s journey hasn’t been easy—he’s physically delicate due to chronic back issues caused by past injuries, and he can be easily startled in certain situations. However, with his medications, Sammy is full of energy, life, and love. At just 12 pounds, Sammy may be small, but his personality is big. He adores long walks, zoomies around the house, and playing with toys. He’s housebroken and will let you know when he needs to go out. Inside the home, Sammy gets along well with other dogs and respects their boundaries, but he is reactive to larger dogs while on walks. For this reason, he will need a dog-savvy adopter who understands his needs and can manage these encounters with care. Sammy is also learning to feel comfortable in a crate, viewing it as his safe space. While he’s not quite fully relaxing inside, he happily goes in to retrieve a treat or eat a meal in his favorite bed before heading back out. New experiences, like meeting unfamiliar people, may make him feel uncertain, but with reassurance and time, Sammy thrives. Above all, Sammy is a cuddle bug who loves nothing more than being close to his person. He’ll light up at the sound of “Good boy!” and will eagerly seek your affection. Sammy would do best with someone who works from home or is home much of the time, as he loves companionship and does not like being left alone for long periods.Sammy may have had a tough start, but his heart is full of love and his spirit is strong. Story
Bronx is a busy 10 year old Maltipoo. He was a rescue. The lady that had him no longer was able to take care of him because she was suffering from a blood disorder causing neglect to Bronx. I have had him for over 6 years now. He loves attention. In my opinion I believe that he needs to be with someone that is retired or work from home. He is kennel trained and house broken. He doesn't like to be in the kennel but he will go in there when told. He is very lovable but he does not do well with young children. I have to adopt my god-son because his parents passed away in a car accident recently and I do not want him to be in a foster home. He is also highly allergic to animals.

Meet Marshmallow, the sweetest softie of a  Miniature Poodle on the planet.  Said to be about 12 years or older,  whorver guessed his age never lived with this spunky, active little guy.  No way does this little guy slow down or hobble?Along like an old man.  In fact, he jumps he begs to get in your lab. He climbs stairs.He just does everything up dog ten years and under would do. He runs and hops around the house like he's half his age. He keeps up with the young dog in the home, chasing and playing, running from room to room and not the senior boy he truly is. When not playing, he happily follows his foster mom around the house and is ready to jump on her lap if she sits down. Marshmallow is a happy boy that loves to snuggle and give kisses. Believe it or not, this boy is the outdoorsy type and loves to lay in the sun and explore the enclosed patio.  He is always up for a good walk on the leash is a champ. When being walked.  Just know he is the curious type and is an observant boy.  If he finds something that interests him he will stop and sit to watch what's going on. If you're missing him in the house, he can likely be found on the back of the couch looking out the front window-not barking, just being nosey. When he's tired, he will put himself to bed in his crate, usually burrowing under the blankets. His favorite place to nap/sleep is with his foster mom. Marshmallow is nithing but a joy to have in your life.  All he wants us love, snuggles, and comfy blankets. Meet Jazzy Jazz Man! This 8 year old 10 lb miniature poodle is a jazzy man indeed.  He is a calm gentleman who is very sweet.  Jazz is not your 7 year old couch potatoe.  He is a very active 8 years old who so cherishes his exercise time.  Jazz is full of energy and he loves to run.  Jazz now has access to a beauitful fenced in area where he happily gets his daily exercise.  He spends part of just about every day burning off his energy.  After that he is ready for a movie or to watch a sporting event.  When on the couch Jazz likes to be right with you.  This calm sweet boy will settle down right beside you.  BUT please remember that exercise is the most important part of his day.  Jazz walks well on a leash and would love to walk with you.  He needs an active family that loves to go and who will take him with them.  He sits like a charm in the car.  Jazz is good with other dogs and OK with cats.  He fits in easily as soon as he had the lay of the land.  He could be fine in a home with a couple or a home with older children.  To learn more about Jazz and to request an application please contact us at viviennejames@comcast.net.  APPROVED APPLICATION AND ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.  (Jazz is currently in Tennessee and can be transported north upon adoption.)April 12, 2025, 2:13 pm
