Story
Meet Olaf! This senior boy came to us after being found as a stray in heartbreaking condition ~ severely matted, covered in dirt and debris, and struggling with near-total vision loss. Despite it all, Olaf has proven to be calm, gentle, and incredibly sweet. If you look up "chill" in the dictionary, you'll find Olaf's name next to it. This cheerful man is spunky, ready for adventure, and happiest when he can be part of the action. He is adaptable and would thrive in just about any living situation - with or without other dogs, with or without kids, etc. He's great on the leash, rides well in the car, sleeps through the night, and is happy to stay home when his humans are out. His main requirements are people that love to snuggle with him and a home that is generally calm and quiet. Olaf adores cozy beds, chin scratches, walks, and rolling around on his back on soft surfaces of any kind (sometimes with his legs in the air, seemingly galloping in his sleep!). He is making great progress on his housetraining and doing well with a belly band in the interim. Olaf has mature cataracts that have left him blind or nearly blind. He's on a medicated eye ointment to help with inflammation. He has had a dental, so his teeth are super pearly white. He has a mild heart murmur that doesn't require any medication at this time. Despite his limited vision, he's quite mobile, although he could use some help getting up and down stairs. For his safety, it's best that any stairs in the home are blocked off for him so he can't try to navigate them on his own. Olaf will bring a boatload of joy to a very lucky forever family. ❗Current location: in a foster home in South Korea❗ Meet Teddy👋 This sweet and gentle boy was rescued just in time from the euthanasia list and began his new chapter at a shelter in April 2025. Despite everything he’s been through, Teddy has a warm heart and a loving spirit. He’s now fully ready to leave his past behind and find a forever home where he can truly belong. He has been living in a foster home since July. • Personality: Gentle, Calm, Sweet • Affinity with - Dogs: Gentle around other dogs - Cats: Curious about them - Adults/Kids: Good with new people, including men / Good with kids! • Housetrained: Fully housebroken! • Walking Manners: Super gentle on a leash as if he had experience in the past. • Bathing/Brushing: Good with both • Separation Anxiety: Little. He may whimper a little bit, but just a few treats will distract him. • Barks/Howls: None. • Car Rides: Comfortable with car rides. • Appetite/Food Allergies: No food allergies found so far • Likes/Dislikes: Likes to play with a ball or tug-of-war! / Dislikes being confined in a small space. • Shedding level (1~10): 1-2 • Health: He has a mild yeast infection in the ears, which is one of the most common types of ear infections, often related to allergies. This usually improves with a bit of care at home. It has improved a lot in his current foster home.
