Munchie is neutered and is a sweet, affectionate little guy who loves adults, cuddles, and being close to his person. 🥰Munchie is comfortable using potty pads inside and also goes potty outside in the grass.Munchie does need a very specific type of home to help him be his happiest. He needs to be the only pet in the household and would do best in an adult-only home with no children. Meet Cleats, a loyal, medium-energy companion who is looking for a patient and understanding adult-only home to call his own. Once Cleats knows and trusts you, he is the ultimate cuddle bug. He loves to be held like a baby and will even dance on his hind legs to show you how happy he is! He has an excellent "off-switch" and is always ready to relax and lay down with you after playtime. His absolute favorite activities include going for car rides, taking neighborhood strolls, and playing fetch with his ball in the yard. Inside the home, Cleats has excellent house manners. He is potty-trained, letting you know he needs to go outside by acting visibly excited. He shows no signs of separation anxiety and is not destructive. When left alone, he does perfectly fine roaming loose with other respectful dogs and will usually just sleep the day away. While he treats an open crate as a comfortable, quiet safe space during the day, at night he prefers his favorite spot: snuggled right in bed with you. When it comes to grooming, he handles home baths and trims well, though he can be a little sensitive about mats and knots. Because Cleats is shy and wary of strangers, he needs a savvy owner who can advocate for his space and manage introductions safely. He can become defensive, growling or nipping if an unfamiliar person tries to touch or approach him unexpectedly, and he is uncomfortable around children. Cleats currently lives with other dogs and gets along well with them. Cleats does like to chase his feline foster siblings from time to time but he is capable of adjusting to a dog-savvy cat. Why hello there! My name is Link - thank you for clicking on my picture to get to know me better. I am a handsome young fella who is looking for a loving home to call my fur-ever home. I didn't exactly have the best start in life - you see, a kind Animal Control Officer helped me find the amazing folks at NBS Animal Rescue when I was found as a stray with severely matted fur. It was so bad that my fur covered my eyes, made it difficult for me to eat, walk, and go to the bathroom. My foster dad didn't think twice when he saw me - he just scooped me up into his arms and helped me get a much needed bath and a groom to help me feel better from my itchy tightly matted fur. Aren't I handsome with my new haircut??? My foster mom says I am about a year old, weigh about 10 lbs, and am likely a mix of Poodle, Maltese, Shih Tzu, and terrier. My fur is a growing in to be nice and soft and I likely will not shed. I'm a young fella still so I'm still learning doggy manners. Sometimes I get really excited when we are playing and forget my manners and can get a little mouthy while playing. I like to play with other friendly dogs and often get the zoomies with my foster sister and run around our fenced yard and romp and play while supervised. My foster dad says I'm a good listener when he reminds me to mind my manners and take a break from playing. I LOVE TO SNUGGLE! Are you looking for a dog to sit next to you on the couch while you read a book or watch your favorite TV show? I'm your guy! Looking for a dog to snuggle you at night - pick me! I love to snuggle up to my foster mom's neck at night and even snuggle under the covers too! Because I didn't learn all of the important things when I was a puppy, I'm still learning how to do my business outside, sit, walk nicely on a leash, and lay down. My foster dad says I'm a quick learner! I am doing well with potty training while my foster mom and dad are home and letting me out on a regular schedule, but, I don't love my crate and can only hold it for about 3-4 hours if I'm alone in my crate. I'm an inquisitive fella so it's best if I am crated when you are not home to make sure I stay safe and not get into things I shouldn't while I'm still learning. My foster dad says that I am a fantastic companion - I love being with my people and another friendly dog. He can be silly and playful, but is equally happy and content to be held and snuggle his people. He would do best in home with a fenced yard and with someone who can be home enough to get him outside on a regular schedule every 4 hours to maintain his potty training learning and who has patience to help him learn how to sit, walk nicely on a leash, etc. Link is good at alerting you to strangers at the door, or strange loud sounds outside and will bark when he is first in his crate so an apartment or condo would not be ideal for Link right now. Link is a fantastic little dog who has lots of love to give to a family who is patient and gentle. Link's adoption fee is $350 and includes all of his vetting including microchip and neuter surgery.
