Meet Blizzard, our playful one-year-old Maltese looking for a patient, loving forever home. Blizzard is an energetic little guy who loves to run, play, and hang out with the other dogs in his foster home. He gets along wonderfully with them and would do well in a home with canine friends. A fenced yard is ideal for him, as it gives him space to zoom around and burn off energy. He is working on potty training with pads. Like many small dogs, he’s not a fan of cold or rainy weather, so he may prefer indoor options during bad weather. Once he trusts you, he melts into a sweet cuddle bug who happily soaks up affection. Blizzard came from a breeding facility that is downsizing, so he may be shy at first and can spin in circles when he’s nervous. With patience, routine, and gentle handling, he will continue to build confidence and settle into family life. Pansy is as gentle as she is adorable. This shy, sweet bundle of curls is curious about everything and everyone — she loves to explore her surroundings, watch the world outside through the window and play in the yard. As a breeder release, Pansy is still getting used to the big world and can be shy at times. She’d love a quiet home where she can have furry friends to play and cuddle with, or a human who can give her plenty of attention and affection. She’s fully potty trained (yay!) and has been learning to walk on a leash. She’s still not quite sure about leash walking and will need lots of practice and patience, but she’s eager to please and responds well to gentle encouragement. For now Pansy will need a securely fenced in yard to play and do her business. At times she needs help getting through the door to go in and outside. With her soft curls, kind eyes, and loving personality, Pansy is sure to win your heart the moment you meet her.
