Meet Blizzard, our playful one-year-old Maltese looking for a patient, loving forever home. Blizzard is an energetic little guy who loves to run, play, and hang out with the other dogs in his foster home. He gets along wonderfully with them and would do well in a home with canine friends. A fenced yard is ideal for him, as it gives him space to zoom around and burn off energy. He is working on potty training with pads. Like many small dogs, he’s not a fan of cold or rainy weather, so he may prefer indoor options during bad weather. Once he trusts you, he melts into a sweet cuddle bug who happily soaks up affection. Blizzard came from a breeding facility that is downsizing, so he may be shy at first and can spin in circles when he’s nervous. With patience, routine, and gentle handling, he will continue to build confidence and settle into family life. Nalani is a big pile of snuggles and opinions wrapped in a tiny package. She loves to play as much as she loves to cuddle and is happiest when she’s close to her people. Nalani is from a breeding facility. Nalani gets along well with other dogs and cats, and loves to play. She would do best with another playful dog her size or in a calm house where she could have time to warm up slowly! Once she knows and loves you she will follow you around wherever you go! She is getting better at walking on a leash, but will need practice to perfect. She might have some trouble going potty on a leash and would need patience if she doesn’t have a yard. She is fully potty trained and will use potty pads if the snow is too deep for her short little legs.
