While we can`t know exactly what happened, it seems likely that Nelly`s journey ended with her being left to fend for herself.Whatever she`s been through, it has left its mark.Nelly is a stunning little girl with a beautiful merle coat, one striking blue eye, and enough charm to melt your heart. But beneath that adorable face is a dog who`s still trying to figure out if people are going to stay.She craves love and companionship, yet she lacks confidence in new situations. She wants reassurance that she`s safe and that this time, she`s truly home. Because of that, we believe Nelly would thrive in a home with another friendly dog. A confident canine companion could help show her that the world isn`t such a scary place and give her the comfort she seems to be searching for.Every dog deserves a place where they feel secure, and Nelly is no exception. She`ll benefit from having a quiet `safe spot` she can retreat to whenever life feels overwhelming.
