My name is Rocky, and I just arrived at CSAC. I was rescued from a puppy mill. I am a little timid because I have not been around a lot of people or lived in a home as a pet. I have spent my life in a barn, a shed or a cage. The CSAC volunteer says that I am happy and friendly. The best home for me has people who have dog experience who can help with my training and acclimating to the outside world. The people in my new home should be able to teach me the skills I need to be a great pet: walking on a lead, house training, and socializing. I will need time to trust people who want what is best for me and are not going to hurt me. That is something I have not experienced so far in my life. Right now, I am in the caring hands of one of the great Vets that work with CSAC. They are checking me out and making sure I am healthy. Hopefully, I will find my new family that will help me to understand that I am a cherished family pet, not just an animal to be used to make money. Meet Bo! This little guy is looking for a special person to call his own. Bo bonds very closely with his person and loves nothing more than being nearby, whether that means hanging out together in the recliner or keeping you company around the house. Bo can be protective of his favorite person and isn’t always comfortable sharing their attention. He will need someone willing to give him patience, boundaries, and time to build trust and feel secure. Bo walks on leash, is pad trained, and will also potty outside, although he doesn’t currently signal when he needs to go. I'm Woody, almost a year old, big dog in a little tiny/winy doggie's body! Yep, just look at my mug shot!  I came to Molly's Place as an owner surrender. No one, including me, can figure out why!? I'm cute (VERY), Playful, Cuddly, Great with people and other dogs! No little kids at this time please and working to improve house training and felt could be acclimated to live with cats! (Heck, most are bigger than me anyway!! Just 11 months old, I'm merle colored and a "Maltipoo"! Designer dog!  I've got all my vaccinations, have had "that snip-snip thing done" and ready for a home.  My bestie buddies here at Molly's Place is a mini poodle, "Alfie". If anyone wants a pair, we are the cutest besties on earth! At 11 pounds and 1 1/2 years old this sweet boy is in need of a soft place to land. Poor little Truman was found running scared through the streets of Baltimore City trying to survive. Kids were throwing cans and bricks at him. Although he is improving in his loving foster home, his previous life has left him somewhat fearful and he will require someone with previous dog experience and a lot of patience. He gains comfort from other dogs and will need a dog companion in his new home as well as a physically fenced yard.
