Story
Mela is an adorable 4-month-old, 3-lb Manx kitten. Though initially skittish, she warms up with patience—and treats—and enjoys petting and interactive play.
As a Manx, Mela is nearly tailless, with just the cutest little stub at the end of her rump. But while she can’t chase her tail, she loves to chase her cat toys and even plays fetch. Mela’s perfect day includes playing with her feline foster siblings and cat toys, then relaxing in her cat tree. She is calm and content, with lively bursts of playfulness. Mela especially enjoys wand toys, the “Cat Dancer,” and gentle pets along her back.
Chatty but not loud, Mela communicates through chirps, trills, and soft purrs. Give her time to warm up, and she will reward your patience by becoming a sweet, playful companion.
Mela is currently being fostered in Staten Island, NY and her adoption fee is $225.
Kittens are only adopted in pairs or to homes with other friendly, social pets. They are very social by nature and need to be with other pets for their socialization.
Mela's adoption fee is $225; to adopt a pair of kittens, the combined adoption fee is $375.

All of our cats come spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccines, dewormed, microchipped, up to date on flea and tick preventative, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. All adults are combo tested; for some litters of kittens who have not been exposed to other cats, only one kitten in the litter may be tested. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services and helps us continue rescuing animals.

We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week.
