At just 10 weeks old, she’s already showing us what Labs are famous for: being curious, smart, loyal, loving, and wonderfully goofy! Maya was found wandering the streets of South Texas near the Mexico border when a kind-hearted Good Samaritan stepped in and contacted our team. We may not know where her little journey began, but we have made her a promise: Maya’s future will be filled with love, safety, belly rubs, and a family who will cherish her forever. 💕 And oh, does this girl have LOVE to give! 🐶 Professional Cuddle Bug: Maya absolutely adores being held like a baby and gently rocked. Yes, really! She’s perfectly happy being your little snuggle bunny. Prepare for puppy kisses, endless cuddles, and a serious case of “just five more minutes” when it’s time to put her down! 🧸 Toy Tester Extraordinaire: When she’s not soaking up affection, Maya is ready to PLAY! Stuffies, balls, squeaky toys… she loves them all. She hasn’t picked a favourite yet, but she’s taking her job as chief toy inspector very seriously! 💗 A Heart of Gold: Maya has that classic Lab personality — friendly, eager to please, curious about the world, and ready to love just about everyone she meets. She would make a wonderful family companion and could thrive with children of all ages, provided interactions are always supervised and appropriate for both puppy and child. 🐱 Feline Friends? Absolutely Possible! Maya has already met some kitties! She can be a little playful because, well… she IS a puppy! With careful introductions, consistent training, patience, and supervision, she may learn to share her home happily with feline siblings. 🐕 Doggy BFF Wanted! Maya LOVES other dogs and would absolutely adore having a canine companion to play with, learn from, and snuggle beside. While another friendly dog could be a wonderful match, she can also thrive as your one-and-only with plenty of companionship, training, playtime, and age-appropriate exercise. As with all puppies, outdoor adventures and contact with unfamiliar dogs should follow veterinary advice until her vaccinations are complete. 🎓 Smart Girl, Big Potential: Maya is eager to please and ready to learn! She’s at that wonderful age when the world is one big adventure and every day brings something new. With positive training, consistency, and lots of love, she has all the potential to grow into an incredible lifelong companion. We don’t know Maya’s exact breed mix, but we estimate she may grow to around 60 lbs when fully grown. That’s a whole lot of love wrapped up in one gorgeous girl! Her adult size is only an estimate, of course. What is Maya looking for? A forever family who will see past her adorable puppy face and commit to loving her through every stage of life. Someone who will teach her, guide her, play with her, cuddle her, and help her grow into the amazing dog she’s meant to be. This animal is currently located in Texas, but we do NOT adopt animals in Texas due to the hundreds of animals being euthanized here daily. We have mainly adopted only in the Northeast but are expanding to include Midwest and PNW starting in September of 2026 The adoption fee listed ($695) INCLUDES transport from Texas to one or around one of the locations below. With an approved application, we do put you in touch with the Texas foster who has the doggy for you to make sure they are the perfect fit.
