Story
We are absolutely smitten with this sweet boy! Edward is 11 weeks old, weighs 14.14 lbs, and is expected to be between 46–77 lbs when fully grown. According to Wisdom Panel, he is a mix of seven different breeds, with the top two being 42% Great Pyrenees and 33% American Pit Bull. Edward already knows how to sit on command, lay down on command, is kennel trained and is doing very well with potty training. He loves everyone he meets and does great with other dogs. He enjoys his toys and is wonderful at entertaining himself, but he’s also incredibly affectionate and never misses a chance to give kisses. *Our adoption fees are as follows (paid by cash or a check made out to Rescue Row):
Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee
Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee
Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs.
