Story
Luna is a 14 week old Great Pyrenees mix weighing 22.4 pounds. She’s a calm, affectionate puppy who loves to play with her canine foster brother and cuddle up with her humans. Luna is a quick learner—she’s doing well with potty training, using the dog door, and knows how to sit on command. She sleeps through the night and adores being close to her people. She also has a playful streak—she’ll gently nibble on her canine foster brother and sneak his toys to spark a game of chase! Luna has improved with her resource guarding and is no longer growling or snapping when protecting food or toys. Because Luna will be a big girl, we ask that children be at least 10 years old and up. If you are interested in adopting Luna, please submit an application at www.rescuerowinc.org. *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 3 business days. *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck *Our adoption fees are as follows paid by cash, a check made out to Rescue Row, Venmo: @Rescue-Row or at Zelle: info@rescuerowinc.org Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs. ##2373479##

Story
Whiskey is a shy, gentle, 100 lb, wanna-be lap dog in excellent health in need of a loving forever home. He loves resting his head in a lap for scratches. Whiskey was adopted as a failed livestock guardian from a farm at the age of 2 and is just under 7 now. Whiskey is great with kids and other dogs after an introduction. Without an introduction, he tends to keep to himself. He likes some cats. His favorite pastimes include being pet, napping, walking, and the great outdoors. He's been very obedient. Unfortunately, a move is in the works, and he won't be living his best life there :-( Vet records available for successful applicant. Adoption fee will go towards grooming because he's a sheddy boy.

Story
So the North wind blew and those cool wind loving GP's just can't resist a frolick in the cold breeze. Meet North, found chillin' in the cool breeze and taking a rest. Temperament is fantastic. Sweet and lives for belly rubs. He was on stray hold with no one coming to claim him. All Dallas Dog adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. Puppies adopted under the age of five months require a spay/neuter contract, and all dogs are required to be spayed by six months unless otherwise medically noted. Our dogs are currently on heartworm preventative. Puppies receive 3 to 4 rounds of vaccinations depending on their age, and adults receive two rounds unless they've been with us longer than a year, in which case they receive the booster update. You can complete an application or view all the adoptable pets on our website at www.dallasdog.org/adopt. Upon receiving your application, please allow us 2-3 business days to review and process.

Story
This adorable little pack—Mom, Dad, and their three precious pups—were found abandoned and surviving together in a field. Despite their rough start, they’ve held onto their gentle spirits and loving hearts. Mom and Dad are a sweet, devoted pair who clearly did their best to protect and raise their puppies in the wild. Now safe and cared for, they’ve blossomed into affectionate, playful companions who just want a cozy home and someone to love them back. This remarkable little family has come so far, and now they’re ready for the next chapter—one filled with comfort, kindness, and forever homes. Could you be part of their happy ending?

Story
Rico is a 4 year old large dog (about 110 pounds) and is generally a good dog. He does resource guard so an experienced owner would be best. He gets along well with other dogs (does try to dominate), and he walks on a leash well. He is also house trained. We are also moving out of state so we are looking for a good home for Rico with an experienced owner who can work with him on his resource guarding tendencies.
