In his foster home, Clarence has made remarkable progress, he has gained healthy weight, built up his confidence, and learned to trust new people. He may be a little shy at first, but once he feels comfortable, Clarence will shower you with deep loyalty and affection. He thrives on companionship and forms strong bonds with those he trusts, bringing happiness and warmth to everyone around him.larence enjoys his daily walks and is wonderful on a leash, making him an ideal partner for outdoor adventures. He gets along well with most dogs after a slow introduction and would do best with someone who has experience with Great Pyrenees or a good understanding of dog behavior. North is a gentle giant that loves all other animals (chickens, ducks, little dogs, big dogs, cats, livestock). He is shy when he is in a new situation, incredibly easy going and loving. So the North wind blew and those cool wind loving GP's just can't resist a frolick in the cold breeze. Meet North, found chillin' in the cool breeze of winter and taking a rest. Temperament is fantastic. Sweet and lives for belly rubs. He was on stray hold with no one coming to claim him. All Dallas Dog adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. Puppies adopted under the age of five months require a spay/neuter contract, and all dogs are required to be spayed by six months unless otherwise medically noted. Our dogs are currently on heartworm preventative. Puppies receive 3 to 4 rounds of vaccinations depending on their age, and adults receive two rounds unless they've been with us longer than a year, in which case they receive the booster update. ***DFW area only-No Exceptions***     Flurry is an 8-week-old (as of 1/4/26) possibly Great Pyrenees/Australian cattle dog mix puppy. His litter was left at the back door of a local shelter at just one week of age.  His foster mom saw a plea and brought him in to the Legacy Humane fold! Since then, the pups have progressed from bottle feeding to solid food and are now ready for adoption! Flurry  loves to be played with, is attentive to his person, sweet and fun. He likes to club in his foster mom’s lap for a snuggle. He also enjoys cozy dog beds for a good nap. He has one blue eye and one gray eye and his nose is multicolored. Puppies at this age will require patience and training to become the best pup they can be. Flurry is working on potty training and, given a potty schedule, he does very well for his young age. Flurry  does well with kids old enough to understand puppy behavior (~8ys and up). So far he does well with other dogs and cats but may not be a good fit for cats as he grows. Flurry responds well to corrections from dogs and curtails his behavior accordingly. He would do best in a home with a yard.  This puppy has not had two sets of shots at this time. Adopters must have a private place for potty training to reduce the chances for life threatening illnesses until the second set of shots are given. Kane was adopted when he was 6 weeks old. He had a little bit of a rough start before he was adopted and has a little trouble trusting new people. Once he knows he’s okay he is the most loving and caring dog. He is now 11 years old and loves to lay around and bark at people outside. He also loves to go on walks and lay outside in the grass all day. He has done great at dog day care centers and has been the favorite among other pups!
