But it’s his soft, soulful eyes that truly stand out — they’re always searching for someone to help him feel safe, loved, and home at last. Rusty’s story began on a rural road in Texas, where he was found abandoned alongside his presumed sister. Despite that difficult start, he’s shown nothing but resilience, kindness, and a quiet strength that makes everyone who meets him root for his happy ending. This gentle giant weighs just over 92 pounds, but don’t let his size fool you — he has an incredibly calm, easygoing nature and a soft spot for belly rubs.
