She is the perfect blend of everything we love about the Cane Corso breed—affectionate, calm, loyal, and incredibly intelligent. A Corso experienced handler would be a plus, but she’s eager to please and bonds deeply with her people. She enjoys quiet companionship, steady routines, and will make a wonderful addition to a home that appreciates a gentle giant. ✨Brutus✨ 🎂 Approximate birthday: 2/3/14 🦴 Breed: Mix breed - maybe Mastiff/Pit ⚖️ Weight: approximately 94 pounds 💔 This poor guy came in underweight, and no owner ever came forward. He’s gained his weight but now needs to find a retirement home. He is deaf so he absolutely needs a fenced yard and someone who knows how to work with dogs that are deaf. Brutus is an XL breed, and he absolutely needs someone with experience with the caring for them, and their strength. 🐶 He does seem to like other dogs, but due to his size, strength, and being deaf he will not be allowed in a home with smaller dogs. 👧 He has been fine with our dog savvy kid tester. Ashton’s 8 years and has always been around animals since she was born. So, you can always bring your kiddos to meet in person. PLEASE NOTE - Due to his size we will not allow him in a home with children under 12 years unless they’ve had XL dogs previously. 🐱 He has not been tested yet. ✅ He is fully vetted now. 🫀🪱 He is heartworm positive 💔, and we do keep him on monthly preventative for the slow kill method. Anyone interested in adopting must have a plan with their veterinarian for future treatment/prevention. 💲His adoption fee is $175 which includes neuter, vaccinations (Rabies, parvo/distemper/lepto, and kennel cough), heartworm test, heartworm prevention while in our care, and microchip. 🏡 Apply to give him a furever home through our online application https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/MKY/Dog 🪪 We require a valid driver's license for background check. 😍 We do not have any pull fees for approved rescues! Meet Holbrook! If crazy good snuggling and a constantly wagging tail sounds good to you, look no further than Holbrook. Holbrook is a 60lbs mixed breed, with an estimated birthday of 06/01/2021. We're not sure if we've ever met a dog as happy as this guy! Seriously, Holbrook is all sunshine and rainbows, and we can't get enough! He is a huge social butterfly, anyone he meets better be ready to make a new friend! He enjoys the company of other dogs, too, but as always we require a meet and greet if you already have any in your home. He is suited to a cat free home. Holbrook is a champion at playtime, this guy loves nothing more than chewing toys and running in our playyards! If you need a little extra light in your life, Holbrook is surely the pup for you. Brownie Boo is a big dog with an even bigger heart! She has such presence! Brownie Boo is two years old and weighs 80 pounds. She is so gentle, calm and good natured and truly enjoys your company. Brownie Boo is very easy to walk for a dog her size. She also likes to play and just chill out in the fenced yard. She has enjoyed play dates with her shelter companion, Shadow. If you have another dog, we do require a meet and greet to ensure compatibility. Brownie Boo is very affectionate and loves to sit by your side to be petted and loved on.
