Story
Freya is a 5 yr old female Mastiff/Husky mix who is big, beautiful, sassy, and full of personality. She has the biggest heart and is an incredibly loving and affectionate dog. She is very vocal and, if you ask her to speak, she will definitely have something to say. Freya does well with children, although because of her size and excitement, she can sometimes get carried away and barrel through small kids when they’re running around playing cause she wants to play also. She can be a little bossy with other dogs, but she also has a sweet and funny side. She can be standoffish at first to other dogs but if she can smell them she usually will be fine. She will def need another fury friend to play with. She hasn't been around other females her size, so not sure about that. She has had her first couple years of shots. She just really needs a family to love her like she is loved now, I believe she can become part of another family and love them as her own. Praying the right family finds her❤️

If you are interested in adopting this animal from us, please visit our facility at 6301 U.S. Highway 68 East, Benton, KY 42025. All adoption applications and interviews must be completed in person at the facility after meeting the animal. All unaltered animals are required to be spayed/neutered by the adopter's veterinarian by the date indicated on the animal's adoption contract. We adopt animals out within a 3 hour radius from our Benton, KY facility.

Story
Rose was our son's dog and he passed away quite suddenly. She is loving and sweet. She is used to being indoors and is very well house trained. She is okay around other dogs except ones on leashes. We do not know why this is a problem. She comes with leashes, harness, and collar. We will provide food and treats for a month. We do not want to have to put Rosie down but we are 80ish and unable to handle her and our current dog. We just want someone to love her and take care of her. She is up to date on all vaccinations . She hates loud noises especially thunder storms. We have gummy treats that contain a calming agent for her. That helps and we will give a supply of those.

Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of our dogs we are only guessing at the dog's predominant breed or breed mix. We strongly encourage you to select your new pet by looking at each dog's individual personality and pet qualities rather than relying on a breed label that is only our best guess.    Our adoption fees vary from $150 and up.  All of our dogs are up to date on vaccines, heart worm preventives, and flea/tick medication, and will be spayed/neutered prior to adoption.
