I’ve had Oslo since he was 3 weeks old. My neighbor had a male Mastiff and female Rottweiler that had puppies. The mom stopped allowing the dogs to feed at 3 weeks old so my neighbor asked me to take Oslo in. I currently have a 1 year old and a newborn. Oslo is too much for me to take care of in this time of postpartum. This rehoming is no fault of his own. He’s just too energetic and taking care of 3 beings is too much for me. He loves being outside, taking walks, and swimming in ponds. He does well with baths (you might have to tell him to get in the tub a couple times but he will eventually). He currently lives with a 10 year old female dog and adores her. They both will play and he takes care of her. At one point his male litter mate lived with us for 8 months and he did fine with him. He also has experience with male puppies. Oslo is currently living with a newborn and 1 year old child and does fine with both. He’s a gentle giant until playing tug of war, then it’s game on

At a tender age of 3 months old, Maple has already endured her share of hardship. Dumped on the side of a rural road along with her siblings, Maple and her siblings were rescued by a good Samaritan. This little family was brought to a foster home where they waited for an opportunity to be transferred to a rescue(s). Sadly, this foster home was overcrowded with strays. Maple witnessed one of her siblings being attacked by a bigger dog and died from his injuries. Except for feeding times, human interaction was scarce. It is no surprise that Maple was shy with people upon arriving at Buckeye’s, but the good news is she is coming out of her shell and seeks human affections now. Maple is so sweet and you can tell she just wants to love and be loved. Maple does well with dogs. Maple is a 3.5-month-old Mastiff mix. She is looking for a home who can devote time to building her confidence and guiding her through life. We know Maple will blossom and get to live the life that she deserves. A family with older children is preferred due to her shyness.
